12. it's them older genetics predating the mid 90s. they weren't so hybridized. you could grow them in coco and barely feed them and they would come out perfect. didn't care about ph. shit was dank. not to mention u could smoke the same stuff for weeks and weeks. good old fashioned green stanky stuff. wasn't all the purpl3 colors and fruity smells. it was just green skunk dankness

16. i was smoking alot of OG, bubba, cat piss, and skunk on the west coast in the 80s and 90s. never had a chance to try this champelli. I never listened to Mac Dre much tho. Is the ACTUAL CHAMPELLI strain back? was he able to rescue the strain from those 20 ten year old beans? cool video man thanks!

17. Been listening to bay area hip hop since 1989 And smoking herb since 1996. Born and raised in northern ca. Aside from Dre mentioning I't a few times, I've rarely heard about it. It's not that popular imo🤷‍♂️

20. A good friend of mine, (TD Camp) produced and recorded "she only sees me" at his studio, here in Oakland. It was originally supposed to be a single from a self produced compilation he put out in collaboration with FTC skateboard company, but in fact, Dre left the lab with a copy, un-mixed, minus the chorus, that he ended up releasing BEFORE the album it was made for came out, on some other project…so there is a version with no hook floating around as well
