  1. It’s sad to say but many of these crimes are committed by members of their own community. Just look at the rate of sexual abuse and domestic violence in native communities which is much higher than the national average.

  2. I think you should contact Elizabeth Smart in Utah. She has trained Mormon women how to step up and set boundaries. I think she would have a lot to add to your needs to recover from this genocide. I remember always picking up Navajos on the Res. This is how we made friends. But what might be cultural has turned into a window for predators. My heart goes out to those mothers and families who kept petitioning.

  3. I am so impressed with Canada for exposing and owning this horrendous reality. You are teaching us how to be civilized in this new age. Needs to stop!!

  4. I wonder if the indigenous people can get some type of rideshare program for each area so they are not hitchhiking? There has to be a better way

  5. This needs to be done in the US too. There is so many missing native American women and girls missing or murdered and no one even knows how many. There's no data base somewhere keeping track no list of names nothing is done for these women and girls it needs to change. God bless them all. I'm glad that those women and girls finally have a voice.

  6. Maybe a group of parents can be available, or even a church bus-with volunteers and state funds, could taxi these young people back and forth to their destinations, to better prevent these tragedies ??? Please don't let them go out alone and without rides ! Why haven't the police set an officer out there to walk and hitchhike ? Like they do for sting operations ???

  7. We must do more to protect those who cannot protect themselves. I hate that Canada has the such horrible crimes happening. I always thought they were such peaceful, sweet people.

  8. Great content and very important but constructive criticism… I could not get past the the music with the repeated tribal screaming mixed in. I know it's petty but I hate to think the message could be missed by others who are sensitive.

  9. You want to know why people don’t say or do anything to help some of these girls? Because for years if you say or do anything your called racist, sexist, homophobic etc. so we just look away. You call the police the bad guy then turn around and say they don’t do enough.

  10. I think it’s inexcusable that these indigenous women/girls are ending up like this. It’s very heart wrenching and it has to come to a stop, this sort of racist attack. These are women who come from beautiful peaceful nations and they should have so much respect. My sincere condolences to the families of these people who have lost their loved ones. My heart breaks for you

  11. Little blue turtle should have never touched a drug at such a young age. Usually when you get mixed up in drugs you either die from doing them or you get killed trying to get money from someone. Sorry but sounds like parents fault. She has a kid at that age as well ! Seriously my child at 17 would have never touched a drug and if so that child isn’t leaving my home… little blue turtle could give a kid such a great name yet no care to take care of her better. Police will never find out sadly. So many disgusting men out there where one of them scum bag’s probably did something to her. It’s terrible. Just terrible that whenever I here about Winnipeg I hear about poor delinquent girls on drugs and hooking. I don’t get it. What’s wrong with these people. Crazy story, foster mom which means her real mother was probably doing the same crap. Im sorry but when you foster a child in general that child becomes your own, you already know that child is going to have emotional or Mentally issues dealing with being a foster child. As a foster parent which I continue to see, after 16 they usually let them go. Unreal why did you take them in to begin with ? That’s right because when the going gets tough you can’t handle it and you give up. My friend Aaron sadly in the same boat, he has Aspergers and of course his pos foster parents couldn’t wait till they could get him out at the age of 17. The difference is in the USA there are home you can put kids like that. I feel terrible because he even says to me I don’t know why they adopted me if they weren’t going to take care of me. It’s truly unreal. This Canadian government first off sounds like complete crap ! Second is foster parents should never adopt a child if they aren’t not aware how much harder it can be to take care of them. Lastly !!! You hold them into their home until they are 18… sadly there is to much poverty going on in these countries and our stupid governments are to busy giving my tax money away to other countries. Again this is sadly why her murder will never be solved there were no resources and money in the foster care and they didn’t care. The same way the pencil pencil pushing police will do nothing.

  12. This MUST be another person on these reservations doing this bc it's just entirely too many people. Yeah the child services is nothing but awful adult's, mostly ones who been thru the system or worse. They are able to smile and hold it together but sorry you don't belong working for these cases. It's a very sweet intention but it's exactly the reason why so many children live thru horrific tragedies, due to either their normalization or still not able to read the HUGE RED FLAGS

  13. Poverty plus racism equal death for so many of us in canada no matter where your from here it's always been there just no one wanted to see it how sad is that 😢 💔 😞

  14. I feel for the families..I lost my mom last year..it hurt..But to lose a loved and not aware of what happened..it feels like a hole that you long to fill

  15. This is more than just a criminal problem. it’s a Canadian problem. Indigenous people in Canada, never received the same rights as the rest of the population especially the right to live safely and the right to protection . Racism is the root of this problem. How many more indigenous people have to be found dead before something is done to protect young indigenous, women, and children? Wake up Canadian government!!!

  16. I'm Japanese descent and I only have 1% of Cherokee bloodline in me. And in America there's no purely white people because they have native American ancestry.

  17. it seems like canada's unspoken motto must be, "if it's brown, flush it down." shameful attitude and behavior towards the indigenous people.

  18. This is the vestiges of the 500 years of colonization and genocide that has been directed towards indigenous women and girls, and against the boys and men who's future wives and descendants are wiped out because the women are gone.

  19. These are all extremely hurtful and sad stories of our gorgeous Native American 🇺🇸 women who are strong, loving, mother’s, daughter’s, sisters, wives, or wives to be be in the future, disappearing? No not disappearing either being murdered rap**, SA, and killed. Not one person on this earth just disappears!!!! 😒😔🤔🤭🫤🙏🏽

  20. I know they were stalked and killed. I was almost one of them. This is the truth about Canada! Also luckily I am someone who is trained in self-defense. Stay awake everybody and stay close to your groups! Traveling alone is not safe in Canada. Quiet crime is still crime. Quiet violent crime is still violent crime. Quiet murder is still murder! Help low income children whenever you can along side with the correct programs! The hospital should be charged with murder also! The adult in her life that cared the most should fight in court for that much! There will never be change! Stay along side kids don’t send them to live at one place and another! If they want to see their mom or dad or whoever go with them! Travel with them!

  21. No justice in this time zone definitely a justice in next time zone without doubt so many people don't believe in this high level belief Mary Jane's in a good place the Great Creator is swift in dealing with injustices ☝️

  22. have any of you all read missing 411.. the author goes into detail about spots spread throughout the country in forest or mountain areas that people mysteriously dissappear. Sometimes they reappear after a couple days..weeks..or not at all. The people would be found confused, they didnt know where or who or what they were. Sometimes they would be found with no clothes and miles away from where they had gone missing, no memeory. In BC canada there is a traingle shaped region along the west coast and interior of the province.. the highway of tears is exactly in the middle of this so called hot spot. I thought the women had been abducted and murdered then disposed of.. this is a heartbreaking tragedy, although, now that ive read the series missing 411 i have another concept in mind that seems less demoralizing. i pray for the families of all the victims families. The state of our world is unfortunate, we need more truth, compassion civilized souls. It is a dark place, meant to be beautiful but humanitys animal nature runs rapidly for centuries..
