9. I had a c4 vette and imma just say them things are junk. They have so many problems and they’re so hard to work on. 10/10 definitely don’t recommend. Unless you just do a motor swap or carburetor swap it. And bypass the vats system.

10. Want another cheap off-road machine? 2005 Kia Sorento. That baby has a V6 and available 5-speed manual, it's a body-on-full frame vehicle like a truck (unlike the unibody Nissan Pathfinder you guys chose, which had a buy back safety recall from Nissan due to rust around the rear suspension components which was still active like 5 years ago), has a solid rear axle, chain driven transfer case with 2/4hi and 4low, 4:11 gears front and back from factory with a rear limited slip setup. Rear suspension is a coil setup instead of leaf springs, so you can just get taller coils all around for a lift. Also, it's available with your choice of 4×4, or AWD (the two tone painted ones are AWD, whereas the solid color ones are 4×4).

    I got my Sorento for $500 back in 2016, it had 375k kms on it and worked perfectly. I only sold it due to our wonderful East Canadian rust issues, which ate a hole in the frame or else I probably would still be driving it.

    For real though, nobody suspects a Sorento on the trails, they're normally not a popular car on the lot, so you can get them super cheap. I remember one snowstorm, I came outside and had snow up to the hood, but had to get to work and couldn't wait for the plow so I put it in 4hi, 1st gear and just crawled right through it with zero issues first try. Absolutely blew me away that it went through that with such ease. Since it was $500, I was hard on it and was never able to really get it stuck. Total trail pig lol

I was so close to getting an is300 as a first car back in 2017 when the automatics were going for 2.5k, my hard headed ass wanted a manual so bad (they went for 5k at the time) but didn’t wanna pay double the price for a manual trans so I ended up getting a regular ‘02 civic. 2nd car was an ‘14 Sentra with a manual trans, 3rd was ‘04 350z and last year I got a ‘17 camry and ‘09 Lexus isF. Civic has been sold, pops daily drives the Sentra, 350z got state reffed so I drift it at the track, I let my lil bro daily the Camry since I’ve loved the isF so much that it’s my new daily lol 350z has been my favorite car to drive, isF has been my favorite car to drive everyday .
