  1. The problem was the menu items got too large. I know what I want before I order. Who looks at the menu board? Now it is on electronic screens that change too fast to keep up.

  2. The McDLT was the best burger 🍔 they ever had in my opinion. I was born in 76 and when I mention that burger to people my age or older, no body remembers.

  3. Why no mention of the Shrimp salad they used to have. There were people who got sick off them (I think due to them being at room temp too long) as I recall and that was the end of it.

  4. The two best discontinued items are the crispy onions, and the mcwraps. The chicken ranch mcwrap to be specific. Not the half ass snack wraps with half a piece of chicken, the full size boys.

  5. i wouldn't mind trying those onion bite things. they should give those another shot. i can't imagine they'd be expensive to produce… probably even easier than regular onion rings

  6. You missed a few. In the Milwaukee area in around 2000, I ran across the McBrat sandwhich. In Virginia, they had the McFried Chicken, and in Maine, they had the McLobster Roll. Seems they like regional favorites as i never saw these sandwhiches in other regions.

  7. I worked at MacDonalds in the early ‘80s when the food was disgustingly unhealthy and delicious! I don’t go to a movie theater for a workout and I don’t go to the gym to see a movie. I don’t go to MacDonalds anymore, it’s not the same, bring back the days when we deep fried in grizzly bear lard, the pies are bland now! Ray Kroc (RIP)help us, I miss the chest pains.

  8. I worked at MacDonalds as a teenager in the ‘80s (as many kids did), I saw some items come and go. What truly concerned me was the McRib. Nothing gave off more greasy fat but after frying the pressed patty it was placed in a stainless steel receptacle submerged in that BBQ sauce. I have no idea what that sauce was but it permanently stain the stainless steel a deep red colour and nothin’ ever got it off, not even acid! I have never gone near a McRib sandwich since!

  9. McDonald's really screwed up when they went from deep fried pies to baked pies. Whataburgers' deep fried pies are the closest you can get and they're really good and ALL of their food is far superior to McDonalds
