These videos are meant to be educational but also funny, so if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask!
0:00 Intro
0:05 Engine air filter was replaced and the air intake tube as well. The technician said luckily the customer did not have any debris/dirt that reached the turbo from what they could see. The truck had a lack of power concern as the engine was very plugged. An engine needs to be able to breathe, and it can’t do so with a plugged air filter.
0:18 The timing chain tensioner ensures there’s the correct and necessary tension of the timing chain. With a block of wood used instead, it could not do that, and eventually, the cam lobes wore out over time.
The customer did mention he installed that block of wood himself.
0:28 “2006 Toyota Camry. The vehicle came in with only one wiper arm on the passenger side, Driver side wiper arm was completely missing and the customer drove it like that through a rainstorm as you can see that the vehicle is wet. The customer denied getting a new wiper arm.”
0:38 The technician said he disconnected the battery that’s used for the aftermarket sound system that the customer has. For some reason, he had this battery wired to the main battery (maybe to listen to music while the vehicle is off). He also said he could not smell any fumes/smoke from the battery as he was sick at the same, but checked the system as he thought it was the issue.
0:50 The customer had a bunch of phone chargers and accessories plugged into USB ports which drained the battery when the vehicle was off.
0:58 Alfa Romeo (did not mention model). The screen was turned off.
1:08 The customer tried to plug something into the USB cables at the rear of the center console.
1:13 Push button start. So the customer brought their safe to get a new key programmed. Might have been cheaper to break into the same as push button keys can be expensive for certain vehicles.
1:22 The technician asked the customer and he said he does a lot of driving for work and does not live in his vehicle.
1:33 A customer had a nail in their tire which made quite a funny noise.
1:39 Steering shaft bolt catches onto the aftermarket floor mat that the customer installed as it’s pushed up right against it.
1:39 The customer had apparently done this welding on their vehicle.
1:58 The shop refused to work on this vehicle as it’s unsafe and seems to have been in a collision before and not properly repaired. Also had a white front bumper and the vehicle is blue, so they think the customer bought it this way or did it themselves.
2:11 A good reason to check all the features/functions of a vehicle before purchasing one. In this case, the customer could add an aftermarket cruise control.
2:19 Honda Civic had a cold air intake, going into the air filter lid where they have the stock filter installed upside down.
2:28 No extra info.
2:38 The technician has been servicing this truck for 3 years and it’s been like this since. It kind of defeats the purpose of having a pickup truck as well. Maybe they plan on lowering/dropping the truck.
2:45 The customer did not want the shift cable fixed as well. The technician could not believe how unsafe this was. They changed the oil on this vehicle outside and the customer drove it away.
2:56 Funny clip was sent in by a viewer.
3:05 Outro. Thanks for watching!

2:30 could be my ex wife vehicle except it is cleaner than hers…
Air filter was changed but still had no power, because he bought a cummins
How dumb can you be????
Ok Im not a welder so what the hell is that crazy spatter pattern you see on this channel all the time? It looks like a drunk toddler shot liquid metal out of a supersoaker.
2:30 I have seen so many vehicles like that nowadays. Economy is dead folks. We're literally in a depression and being gaslight we're not.
Mechanics and auto techs are under paid when it comes to some owners and their rolling death traps.
1:12 🤦🤦♂🤦♀
That Pontiac van was disgusting. I'd decline working on it once I saw that.
I still don't see what an air filter has to do with power.
Be kind and fix him, he does look a little rough.
My father in law's towbar was held on by 1 bolt on 1 side & a popcorn weld on the other. He was offended that I wouldn't let him borrow my trailer because of it. Borrowed someone else's & surprisingly the towbar broke off.
Well hell,I guess u can fix stupid after all hahahahah
That rock&gear cable -thing is Darwin Award waiting to happen. Also 1:09, who doesn't recognize usb ports in these days?
Customer states- I,m too Dumb To be alive.!
“Parasitic draw on battery due to sound system” reminds me of a customer of mine who was running 3000 watts of stereo on the stock alternator on his Mitsubishi Mighty Max.
I have to say bringing the whole safe with the key in it was pretty smart!
Right on.👍
I really wanna show these to my teacher but idk if he would enjoy it. Like it’s so informative and for a class of amateur techs it would be great for him to go into more depth on these issues.

AHHHHHHHH
Cruise on a 2021 Colorado is an option?
That Chrysler 200 looks like it was spliced together from two different cars, the paint color is different on either side of the "weld".
2021 canyon with no cruise control!!! That had to be a special order🤔🤔🤔🤔that's like standard equipment on most vehicles in the last decade!!!
Cheaper to cut open the safe
The British Fellow at the end was hilarious!
Portable toilet? WTF? 😳
Love the ball joint
Never ever get under your vehicle why’ll it’s in gear ⚙️
2:19 Not the first time I've seen that Honda double filter mishap. It happens when someone puts a cone filter on the stock box and then some fool comes along and replaces the stock filter effectively double filtering the car. Years ago my mom used to drive a Civic with that same style of airbox. She drove the car a lot for work so I removed the stock filter element from the airbox and very nicely fit a custom short intake tube and cotton element cone filter to it like you see in the video to improve fuel economy and filter life over the restrictive disposable factory filter element. To make this work I carefully cut away the old filter material from the used filter, keeping only the rubber seal necessary to seal the airbox. I then connected the new performance intake tube to the airbox outlet and attached it from the inside with a hose clamp so it could not fall out or be pulled out of the box. The tube was also the perfect size for the hole in the airbox and sealed perfectly. The mod significantly improved her fuel mileage and she was very happy with the results. But later she moved to another town and when she came back for a visit she told me her gas mileage was getting bad again. I looked under the hood thinking the cone filter would just be dirty but for some reason the nice intake I set up for her car was taped to the airbox with melting gooey grey duct tape instead of clamped from the inside and it was hanging down like it was about to fall off. Turns out she took the car to some complete moron for a service and he charged her for a new air filter and ignorantly told her that you can't run a stock airbox with no filter in it. The genius then proceeded to throw away my custom made airbox seal and the hose clamp that held the tube in place and replaced them with a full stock filter and some duct tape.
Needless to say I was furious. My mom refused to tell me exactly who did it. I think she feared for their life.
Im really curious HOW that person was attempting to use their cruise control
I feel like that blue pick up gotta be an ex cartel truck or there was some weirdness with compartments going on behind a bed liner there
I swear there are folks that do not need to EVER touch a tool in their lives, just amazes me how dumb folks can be like where is the common sense lol!?!?!
This set is clips is one of your best! It also shows why it is never smart to buy a car with a rebuilt title, what a hack sectioning job.
As a mechanic, I have seen my fair share over the years, never ceases to amaze me of silly people can be.
EFF the service manager who OK'ed the work order on those pigmobiles. I would spit in his coffee everyday if he pulled that crap on me.
Like the asthmatic patient who spends his money smoking and not on his asthma medications saying he gets short of breath doing normal activities and can't work.
1:15 actually, that looks like a hotel safe.
