To be honest I applaud his ability to go from a couch potato to a pool! Bravo! Not a lot of people can say that they just decided one day that they want to to Change for the better! I'm going to have to practice having a serious talk with myself to kick my ass into gear!
Damn! I hate going on the 13-hour car ride up the East Coast! I couldn't imagine being in the water for 13 or 14 hours. I can't stand being in a car that long! What an amazing person! Great interview!

I am an ex swimmer and water polo player, at 70, and this fellow has prodded me to just get back into the pool, and here in the middle of nowhere Normandy, France, we have a great indoor swim center. So, lol, not comparison. Bravo and INCREDIBLE SELF CONTROL to swim in waters with so many great whites….cheers…rr

The way he says that we hear fifty when he says thirty is so condescending. Yeah it sounds more like an American saying Fitty we pronounce the R IN thiRty a small minority of Americans don't day the second F in fifty but most pronounce it properly…. unlike this guy. It's TAAAMPA NOT TEMPA… FFS … and why do you call your friends "mates" ? … do you mate with them? what do you call your sexual partner? a friend? lol
