  1. Born in ’69 and I remember some of these! Pretty sure we had the “Jaws” game. I wish I remembered the name of one of my favorite toys, it was like a series of plastic molds that you could insert tootsie rolls into and make cool edible castings.

I used to use white bread when we ran out of tootsie rolls. I also had the nemesis to “Stretch Armstrong”, think his name was “Zog”. My violent little childhood friend ripped it open one day and we saw the green goo inside.

    Good times!
(Remember "slime"? Came in a tiny garbage can )

  2. The most infamous toy I remember from childhood is 'my puppy puddles', a dog toy that pissed… I remember it was so bizarre at the time, and it got discontinued AND won some ignominious award like 'worst toy of the year'… Not sure if it was seventies or early eighties though but it was around 78-83 if memory serves. It's the toy I always think of when I see MANY you commercials these days that do similar actions

  3. I got the Sunshine Family for Christmas, then we had an earthquake that night & I fell on it. I cried so hard because it broke and I didn’t even really get to play with it.

I just found your channel, and I will look around. I hope I’m not being repetitious if you’ve covered any of these.

Some toys I thought of were:

    1.) Mrs. Beasely doll
    2.) Baby Beans doll
    3.) Weeble’s Haunted House
4.) G.I. Joe with Kung Fu action grip
    5.) Easy Bake Oven

There was also a stuffed monkey that had a banana you stuck in its mouth, but I can’t remember the name.

  4. My dad was a package designer for Fisher design (now deceased)
They did star wars, strawberry shortcake, my little pony and many others for Kenner. But they did much more… And I was the kid on the box for "Mountain Tots Hideaway" in 78-79' 👍

  5. The "Jaws" game was re-released in the 90s as "Hungry, Hungry Shark"; my mom got one for my son; still have it packed away with the original box somewhere – after playing with it for several years of course. Always had to keep replacing the rubber bands on its mouth since they would crumble after several months.
