46 thoughts on “Is $24 Million Enough Money for 16 Years in Prison? | Jeffrey Deskovic

  1. This koncrete dude does not know how to do an interview, at all!
    Really poor commentary throughout!
    Jeez! So annoying.

It’s a good thing Jeffery knows how to be a good speaker and carry this truly interesting story.

  2. It's obviously not true that 5% on death row are innocent. That's ridiculous. The officers and prosecutors should be liable. Start jailing them and watch behaviors change.

  3. I think all judges, lawyers, attorneys and law enforcement should have to spend two weeks in prison. I mean legit inmate prison not protective custody but murder and life sentence prison.M before they are eligible to take a position in law and courts etc.. because at some point these people need some way to gauge their egos and give a actual life experience to draw from before they speak for the laws of the United States of America and for those trying to survive these laws when wrongfully convicted.

  4. I rarely let videos or podcasts have any emotional effect on me. This Man story definitely makes my blood boil. Definitely wish I could go back to when he was 16, throwing arm around him and help him out. I can't stand bullies let alone bullies in uniform coerced an innocent boy. To a crime that he didn't commit. Also they could look good in the Public's eye. I would definitely put those individuals through the pain that he went through. Seriously what a bunch of cowards. I am glad this man is free and doing so good.

  5. Imagine if there was a law where a prosecutor had to go to prison for 10 years if they wrongfully imprisoned someone. I think you would see Far less people being wrongfully convicted. This shit is a game to these competitive pigs; they treat people like they're pawns instead of human beings.

  6. we have a 2 class justice system. look at Hillary for example. if you or I did that we would be in federal prison for a long time. thats only one example. your family has money or politically connected your treated different

  7. Another victim of the injustice system. The biggest mistake human beings ever created. Theirs millions like him victimized by the injustice machine and the monsters that operate it everyday.

  8. I plead guilty because proving my exwife lied may get HER LockedUp. Where does that leave our kids?… i never touched her! I wouldn't leave, so she called 911 said i hit her.

  9. It can happen to you , my ass lol. It can happen to people who are terrified of other men. Aka cops. But either way this should be the biggest story in the country daily. The fact it’s still happening every single day while these idiots stand in Uvalde school checking their twitter while children get murdered ….. amazing work America.

  10. Hey man you've got some really good interviews here on your channel. My heart goes out to this fine gentlemen. This could happen to any of us, unfortunately. Thanks for posting and thanks to Jeffrey for sharing his story. It's very informative from the listener's point of view to hear all the details/hardships he went through but never should have. Our justice system is a circus.I learned this from being selected for jury duty. The lawyer dance is disheartening. I wish Jeffrey the best in the future and again, thanks for sharing this to the both of you.

  11. Every state in the US needs to pass a law to make it illegal for cops/detectives to use deception or lie about evidence they don’t have like they do in others countries they can’t say that they found evidence that they didn’t just to scare you into confessing

  12. I swear the next time I get depressed I’m going to concentrate on what this guy went through and then realize what a pathetic weakling I am!

  13. If he's right 15-20% of people are wrongfully incarcerated we need to have a review of every case where a person received more than 10 years.

And this needs to happen today.

  14. I listened to all 3 episodes.

I have nothing to write, there are no words for what happened to this man.

I'll only say this, all the police, prosecutors, and the judges involved in this case should lose their pensions.

  15. You know what is messed up. This supreme court just gave a judgement that victims of wrongful conviction can't get compensated and also makes it harder for innocent people to get out

  16. Great video and compelling story…Good on the presider for having this interview and good on this guy for working towards this end: wondering if works with Innocence Project or other like-organizations.?

  17. the problem with the USA is that . everything its a " BUSSINES " even a fair clean trial, and justice its served depending on who you are or how much money you have , and if you are poor ,you get screwed ,!

  18. The "are we going to see anybody rich on death row?" Question is very interesting! Its the first time I've ever thought about that! This guys amazing for the fact he's not letting his experience eat him up! Amazing guy!

  19. this poor guy, reminds me of that other dude in Texas, who's house burned down, and his daughters, died in the fire, . and the police and the court thought he was the perp, ONLY because he had "Heavy metal posters" in his room at home, and he was actually found innocent, years after he was executed
