Members of Journey are involved in a legal dispute over a credit card. Neal Schon sued Jonathan Cain requesting access to the credit card account. With Steve Perry already suing Journey, could this spell trouble for the future of the band?

  1. Whenever you see a story like this dig, dig deep, if you want the truth. The media has this all backwards based on statements Cain made, if you google this you get countless stories, just repeating eachother, that Cain had to take Neal's credit card, nothing could be further from the truth, what happened is this, Neal's suit's principal aim is to gain access to an American Express card which Cain allegedly set up through Nomota "without Schon's consent or knowledge, with only Cain as the account holder." Schon's attorneys confirm that he "tried to avoid legal action, repeatedly requesting that Cain grant him access to the AMEX account. For many months, Cain and his representatives have represented that Schon would be granted access. But every time Schon contacted AMEX, AMEX informed him that he was still not authorized to access AMEX account records." Do you follow? It's not Neal trying to get access to his won account, his trying to see just what Cain and his tv evangelical wife are doing with Journey's money.

Schon's wife Michaele now says that AMEX has informed him that Cain had his spouse, Paula White, added to the Journey bank account in 2020 "against Neal’s wishes and per the court agreement."

The filing goes on to make serious allegations of band mismanagement by Cain that go well beyond their disagreement over the American Express account. Lawyers accuse Cain of "refusing to respond to booking opportunities; blocking payment to band members, crew and vendors; refusing to execute necessary operating documents"; and keeping Schon from "viewing expenses incurred by Cain and his touring party on band tours."

All of this looks incredibly bad, those are the facts of the case, Cain and his wife, are in control of Journey's money and if you google Paula White that ain't good, she tells people to send her not just money, but you're entire paychecks (for God) and not just one week, for an entire month ( don't worry God will repay you big time).

  2. They should take away the credit card from Neal and hire a finance manager who will control spending. Perry will not be joining the band anytime soon which is okay by me. He no longer has the voice that is required to sing their songs. And Rollie is no way near as good as Cain. W/O Cain, the band will be an average band especially with Perry. They will sell tickets but the audience will be disappointed with the product. Even Pineda is not as strong as was in the beginning but he's still better than Perry now. They'll need a forensic accountant to figure where the money went and divide the current assets. There has been a lot of bridges burnt and I don't see the current members playing nice. Money always makes enemies of friends and relatives. It was a long quest but I think the journey is over.

  3. I don't believe there's gonna be any reconciliation between them and that's very sad. These guys were so great together, we still have all the good memories, what a shame. Maybe Gregg will come back, time will tell 🤔🤔🤔

  4. The band should have created a new name once they got Arnel in the band, they had an excellent base to run off of in terms of music, Revelations is a great album, that could have been their new start right there. But when you're an egomaniac and have something to prove to nobody but yourself, then you will go to all ends of the Earth to destroy the success and the people that pose a threat, they are running a legacy into the ground, but up in the stands, way up deep Steve Perry is laughing at the whole situation…
You can't fix stupid you can only document it 🥴

  5. I’m a lifelong Journey (and huge Neal Schon) fan but I’ve truly had enough of this. Their last album, in my humble opinion, was a huge disappointment and these lawsuits have only cemented my decision to back away from these guys. It’s time to say goodbye for me. It’s been a great 40 year run but………I’m done.

  6. Just isn't the same sense Steve Perry left..I dont blame Steve Perry for taking them to court.they would have never made an Amazing band without Steve Perry 😉.

  7. Cain is married to the Maga preacher someone who denies the 2021 election, helped fuel the January 06 insurrection. So truth is not exactly on Cains side adios too bad rubbish.
