But I remember in my city (Yakima, WA) which has a high crime rate for its size, a local drug dealer (friend of mine) got shot in the back 7 times in his own home in front of his wife. I was in a crowd that was privy to this guys movements that day and how he hunted down my friend with others who drove the car and was there and they didn't even get charged. The shooter walked out of prison seven years later. Seven years later. I remember the look on the dad's face when he went to get his son's car that morning. He knew his son was living a risky lifestyle, but it still was his ONLY son, a 21 year old man with a couple kids. I guess that's why I shudder when I think of Rondo having to serve all that time. He had just turned 18 right? And worse still, he wasn't the shooter. He didn't leave his phone at the scene. Did he know what was going to happen and did he deserve time? Yes. But not 39 years, my man. I just think it was too much. Seven years for shooting my friend in the back in his own home. Still to this day I get disgusted.

The job mite of been sloppy especially with the phone but If it wasn't a civilian and it was gang related I don't think they would of cared to be honest i mean it's street hits they all sloppy with most corner cameras CCTV seeing the murder. Over half the murders go unsolved in Chicago mainly cause it's all gang related.
