Kris Roe from The Ataris is kinda a turd tho.
Coming back to this video months later after you're incredibly misinformed and awful take about bands bashing the military. Yeah, you're still just as much of a dumb fuck for leaving that in the edit.
Name one fucking band that shits on the actual troops and not the military industrial complex or the government as a whole.
So disappointing. Next thing you'll be sucking off Tom MacDonald for his amazing insight into being a white American man.
I like how at 6:38 in the text it says that this is the "popiest" material they have ever written. like, most like the pope? 🤣
If u think about it kid rock is the more successful (definitely less likable) version of vanilla ice…tell me I'm wrong👀
I know I'm late but if you do a third entry to this series you should do careless whisper by seether.
Holy crap… you missed three amazing covers in the Metal world:
Anacrusis – I Love the World (new model army cover)
Sanctuary – White Rabbit (Jefferson Airplane cover)
Nevermore – The Sound of Silence (Simon & Garfunkel cover)
Added bonus: Nevermore – Silent Hedges (bauhaus cover)
Second bonus: Realm – Elenor’s Rigby (Beatles cover)
the military literally undermines free speech behind the scenes.
Five Finger Death Punch just sucks all around.
Curious to hear your thoughts on Korn’s cover of Cameo’s “Word Up” if there’s a part 3
Also curious why it's wrong for a "punk" band to say the Nword but it's fine for Rage Against the Machine.
Pick one. It's either all okay, or NONE of it is.
Slayer's more known cover of Minor Threat is Filler.
Are we forgetting Weird Al Since You've Been Gone?
Did you heard the Life Of Agony cover of Don´t you forget about me?
my favorite rock cover of all time is seether’s version of careless whisper
I like 2 songs by Five Finger Death Punch; this is one of them. That said, their singer is…well, just look at his social media. Enough said.
So you can’t say the N word while singing a song with that word in it well I guess you shouldn’t listen to music by artists who say that word and we should just stay divided
We don't have freedom of speech because of the military we have free speech because of the Bill of rights.
You should do a video covers that are better than the original. My picks (even tho no one asked) Orgy – Blue Monday (New Order), Type O Negative – Hey Pete (Hey Joe The Leaves) Cinnamon Girl (Neil Young), Day Tripper (The Beatles), Placebo – Running Up That Hill (Kate Bush), Marilyn Manson – Sweet Dreams (The Eurythmics), Cradle of Filth – Hallowed Be Thy Name (Iron Maiden), The Ramones – Needles & Pins (The Searchers), Sid Vicious – My Way (Frank Sanatra) & of course The Jimi Hendrix Experience – All Along the Watchtower (Bob Dylan) and I’m sure there’s a bunch more escaping me atm.
"Deadhead" is a reference to Grateful Dead fans.
Yeah man if it weren't for our huge military we'd all be speaking Iraqi huh
Metallica’s covers album from 1998 is fucking awesome
Anyone who covers Soulja Boy clearly hates themselves and has had a hard home life but that’s just my opinion
In Missouri in the 2000s if you cooked meth, you automatically had a copy of this 5 finger death punch cd in your durango
I loved the album So Long, Astoria so much when it came out. And my favorite cover from Nirvana Unplugged is Where Did You Sleep Last Night.
If anyone likes that ADTR cover you should also check out the Abandoned by Bears covers of Jackson 5 and Taylor Swift. Both are great.
I can't believe Ross Robinson did the vanilla ice album.
Weezer did a pretty good job of Africa by Toto.
I cannot stand when someone says “oh we have freedom of speech because of the military”. No. Look, I respect people who have previously and currently serve in the military but that is just a bad argument.
If you’re going to give anyone credit for freedom of speech it would be those who fought the British in the Revolutionary War and the founding fathers who put that into our constitution with the creation of the first amendment in 1791.
WW1 and WW2 were definitely huge in protecting America but I’m not sure we were in danger of losing our freedom of speech. Any wars after that had nothing to do with our freedom of speech or anyone coming to take it away.
5FDP – Blue On Black 🙌🏽
Did this video just talk about American freedoms because of the military? What a world we live in lol…
Two by the same band that were both very good but might have only bee played at shows for a while. Rise Against did Minor Threat by Minor Threat and Tim would do an acoustic version of Tour Song by Jawbreaker
Fall Out Boy doing Beat it with John Mayer has to go in the next one of these
Should’ve done Ghost Of Tom Joad, Rage’s version of the Bruce Springsteen song.
Does any reasonable person really bash the military? Like the troops themselves? Is it not mostly people being upset with the military as an actual organization and the military-industrial complex since the end of World War 2?
That was a surprisingly awful take to throw out in the middle of a video. Poor form, Finn. Poor form.
The military doesn't protect our freedom of speech. They protect private property. Our freedoms are protected in the courts. How exactly did the invasion of Iraq, Afghanistan, Vietnam, etc save our speech? Hell, the military is more of an arm of the corps than the people. This is a ridiculous misconception. * Is our freedom of speech buried in a Kuwaiti oil field or something? Or inside an poor Iraqi kids skull? I like your channel, but the thumbs down is for the very specious statement.
Five finger death punch did a cover of the house of the rising sun that I hate but I like limp bizkits cover of behind blue eyes so my opinion isn't the best lol
if you a part 3 you should to seether's cover of carless wisper
Few tips if u would be bored… Try those
Goldfinger – 99 Red Balloons (Nena)
Yellowcard – Everywhere (Michelle Branch)
Neck Deep – Torn (Natalie Imbruglia)
Blink182 – Another Girl Another Planet(The Only Ones)
Bowling for soup – Stacy's mom(Fountains of Wayne)
Weezer – Take On Me(A-ha)
…AND Just when I thought I was walking a fatally tasteless life…, I found out this flower of the desert, whose existence I wouldn't have merely supposed or even believed whether told…

It's so 90's to have a band called orgy get regular play on tv and literally nobody said anything. I didn't even know what an orgy was when that song was on tv as like an 11 year old and it never came up. Whatever dj would just be like yeah and that was orgy next up blah blah blah
If vanilla ice kept that nu metal cover as the same tempo as the original song it would have been decent
A day to remember should have covered her song "my life would suck without you" instead
Didn't the word alive also cover Kanye's "heartless" on another pop goes punk
"In this diary" was a pretty big Ataris track
