6. When a viewpoint like "gay people are predators" is given equal protection to "I am gay & that's good" – well, it can't actually be equal. Because the gay people are going to be less safe. They will be less likely to post or even be present. Rules that disallow hate speech welcome all voices, rules that protect hate speech limit the freedom of speech. Look at the difference between platforms like twitter and 4chan/8chan or Kiwi Farms. Which truly has free speech? The ones with some hate speech moderation.

When you can't hack it doing real useful work — making cars that work or doing any real useful engineering that is not solving problems that have already been solved, decades ago, and far better by actual REAL geniuses, MILLIONS of them, in traffic engineering, auto engineering – then you fall back on a social media company.
