1. This brought back some horrific memories for me. I was splashed as a child. I was swimming in a lake next to a pier when a labrador jumped in next to me. Luckily the dog was apprehended and eventually charged with reckless displacement of water molecules. It was a big part of the healing process for me. But I still have splashbacks to this day

5. Yeah, we used to be able to kick up spray on PWC's back in the good old days. Then around 1995 everything went to shit with government cracking down on PWC's. Where I used to ride it was getting crowded. Over night it seems, there are very few on the water. They expanded the "manatee" zones everywhere, and they only seem to pester the PWC's, when ironically, a PWC will do the LEAST harm to a manatee.

8. just a little devils advocate…… We live on the lake 3 days a week from may until early october. You ask any boater, any, jet ski riders are the menace of the lake… there are more incidences involving jet skis than boats even though boats outnumber the jet skis by a large margin. The problem is, jackass jet ski riders that arent aware of the physics of what they are riding and unaware of what is going on around them. You hop on, start it, full throttle, zero experience of what your doing, and youre running 50+ any direction and turning suddenly, and often zero awareness of whats around them. They make turns in a 10 foot radius in front of 4~5k pound boats moving at 40+ mph, the boat cant just hit the brakes. Jet skis run up into your wake to jump, I cant count the number of times ive seen one hit the wake behind our boat and almost get hit head on by another boat or torpedo another boat. The teehee Ill splash you, seen 2 broken legs (one femur one lower leg), a broken pelvis, broken arm with 3 broken ribs and a punctured lung in the last 2 summers. All from Jetskis operating with zero regard or awareness.

   The cop in yellow was a jackass that had holier than thou syndrome, we have a few of those on our lake and have learned how to handle them (and gotten 1 ran off!). "its a no wake zone!" yeah, all wake stops at that buoy, sure you dont try to increase it at the ramp, but its facing open water and waves from the other side of the lake hit it, just dont add to it when you can. Simple… He 100% called and swung his peepee to get the lake patrol to harass you which comes easy because the lake patrol has to deal with punkass idiots daily on jet skis. From the silly ass teehee girls busting 50 to 60 mph across the lake in FRONT of boats and never even glancing their way, to ill splash them idiots that either hit each other or the ski breaks plane and slides into what they were turning away from, to just complete self centered immature narcist with no knowledge of what they are doing and zero consideration of decency towards others wanting to do the same thing you claim you want to do, just enjoy the lake. Go find a cove, and douse the shit out of each other, lake patrol generally wont say shit, but do it in the middle of the lake in traffic, every time youre going to get nailed and with jet skis they dont play around. If you think the jet wash doesnt hurt anyone, post that vid when it happens.

   Not trying to douche on you. Just saying the reality. But Ill say again, youre just out there trying to enjoy the lake… so is everyone else. Learn the where you can and where you cant, know some basic lake courtesy, and dont be those guys on jet skis and the fun stays but the hate goes way down.

11. Charged with reckless operation for "Splashing….." Isn't that what a jet ski does? Another over reach of government power and people trying to tell other people what they can and can't do. In the governments eye we should just all go to work… come home… eat … sleep… repeat. Cant have fun in America anymore folks, The government will book you for it

20. The fact that Police officers and court people waste time on 2 friends splashing water on eachother is beyond me.. The whole thing just boils "America" When i first heard of this i thought he sprayed water on someone walking on land or something. But i mean, 2 friends??

21. There’s no laws saying I can’t spray eachother. And you cannot tell where water sprays from a distance either. And that cop definitely calmed these guys. He definitely reported them cause he is a prick. Someone pissed in his cornflakes that morning
