The culture was already degrading as you alluded to, Tik Tok is simply the grease on the wheel. That's why I disagree when you say things like "well, can't really argue with it" or whatever. I mean if you want a better culture in any area, you have to convince people of why it's important. Explaining to people what is being lost in the process is a good way of doing that though I think, so it comes full circle with videos like this, hopefully.
YouTube is the best place to find music. All the music archives out there for genres and bands.
Tik Tok fucked and entire generation
Social media has reduced the attention span of generations. When my girl is on the socialz and doesn't have headphones on I'm pissed. It's one 3 second soundbite from a shit song over and over, followed by a dark barking, followed by one sound and then some people laughing followed by more 3-5 second trash sounds. And she doesn't understand why that pisses me of. I'm painting, I want a 2 hour synthwave tracklist on, or a 3 hour movie review from Mauler. I don't want that 3-5 second hyper active, top 10 most weirdest sh*t, Tik Tok crap. Maybe I'm just old.
Lewis capaldi makes some content about being pressured to advertise through social media, and I thought it was cool how he was bringing light to this subject, while at the same time, promoting his music on social media 🤦
