1. i own a 2nd gen Prius, the top speed is listed by Toyota as 134 miles per hour. It will hit that. Their is this weird effect that happens when you hit about 45-50 MPH. The car actually starts to accelerate on it's own. It's not like pushing the gas pedal all the way down. It's more like if you take your foot off the gas you can see the speed increasing slowly, about 1-2 mph every half to whole mile. I've been doing 65 and taken my foot off the accelerator and watched the speedo go up and it takes less "effort" to gain speed. Their is something about the aerodynamics of the Priuses body that makes it silly efficient at being fast and efficient.

3. I've heard that there is a motorcycle version of this type of run but I never hear people talk about it. I think it would be pretty interesting to hear some stories of bikers that did it.
