5. the crazy thing is. the tech community is running head first into a brick wall and taking all of humanity along for the ride. its no surprise to see news out of SF that the police dept is proposing they use robots with lethal force against humans. a few years ago when i saw robots chase away homeless that slept on the sidewalk and patrolled parking lots i sensed it wouldn't be long before they actually had weapons built in them. now they are here and SF wants to deploy them. and tech just races head first into developing this stuff. why so? because of the immediate pay off.
