These videos are meant to be educational but also funny, so if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask!

0:00 Intro
0:05 Dodge Caravan. The technician was unsure why they used spray foam and insulation to try and resolve their issue, especially the insulation since it could easily catch on fire. He also mentioned the insulation was shoved down the fenders as well.
0:24 The customer left a plastic funnel in the engine bay. It was resting against the exhaust manifold and started to melt.
0:31 Yes, the customer had that plugged into a 120-volt outlet in their garage to try and charge their battery. The vehicle was a Volvo (was told on the model).
0:41 The white line on the screen was actually the bumper of the vehicle.
0:54 Truck also had 4 tires that were completely bald, among a bunch of other issues.
1:03 Toyota RAV4. The customer didn’t properly resecure the tire onto the back of the vehicle.
1:14 The technician thinks that it was the customer who actually installed the new front brake rotors and brake pads. The inner brake pad was installed backward.
1:27 The technician said he repaired the master cylinder and brake booster, but the customer didn’t want the seat replaced/repaired or anything else. Pretty dangerous to drive like this!
1:36 Plastic was left on the oil filter. Sometimes when you buy filters (OEM or aftermarket) they will have plastic all around it or just the bottom to prevent dirt/dust from getting inside. Whoever changed the oil didn’t remove it so the gasket on the filter couldn’t seal properly.
1:43 They tried to use RTV silicone and a piece of wood to stop the vibration.
1:52 Toyota Tundra just came in to get new wheels and tires. The technician noticed this when he was putting a floor jack underneath the truck to lift the front end.
2:02 2013 F-150 Ecoboost (twin turbo). The photo is old but at the time it was taken, the truck had 8500 miles/13679 kilometres, so the technician recommended an oil change as well since the oil hasn’t been changed once.
2:12 It was a list of other problems wrong with this kit car that made it pretty unsafe.
2:56 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1. The technician had to replace the ring and pinion in the rear differential.
3:07 Outro. Thanks for watching!

  1. One time more expensive dealer left the old oring for oil filter there and added a new one on top of it. Luckily my car warned for low oil and i went to a cheap shop and they found the problem immediately.

  2. "Done at another shop" is "I tried it all by myself, because I'm such a moron and don't even know how to change a light bulb, but I can screw things up."

  3. It’s always “at another shop”. (Or a “friend”)
Why can’t they admit they did it themself?

Probably because the other videos are the ones that DO admit f’ing it them self. 😂

  4. So person gets fancy Imported Car but cannot afford to get it fixed correctly so he puts duct tape and bubble gum all over the place and then you come in and save the day good one

  5. Al the mechanics who did them bodge jobs said they knew what they were doing and all other mechanics were not as good as them to the customer. The customer being the only person who knew less than the mechanic.

  6. I feel much better after this short video. I know these customers have great credit and equity so the trade off is equally amusing seeing me drive my POS on the road. Thanks for sharing!

  7. Confession: I once “taught” my girlfriend how to change her own brakes… she followed instructions and did the first side well, so I paid less attention as she did the other side. A couple days later she complained of a grinding noise … I knew what had happened before I even looked at it. 1:15

  8. i love the people who use great stuff in a can to fix their car, because anyone who knows anything about great stuff knows that its garbage that you should never use for anything.
