After being called to the principal’s office at Harvard University I decided to talk to people as a gecko.

Those people include a student who is exhausted by his university workload, an environmentalist visiting Boston from England, a person studying to be a brain surgeon who is pondering on the opportunity cost of her life, and an extreme yet meditative biker with a desire for suffering.

  1. If she loves the brain and thought about these "high school -tier" philosophical anecdotes about thinking and consciousness, why is she all about becoming a brain surgeon? I think people come up with these fancy and noble intellectual stories to justify themselves that they only just want a highly paid profession. Sory for pessimism

  2. "Institutions in the US are a bit outdated" while living in a country which has a king, British girl a bit IQ deficient
I'm from Europe btw idc about either before anyone decides to respond with spam thoughts

  3. I'm a fresh young lawyer and I'll be the first to admit that if I was outwardly emotional, I would be crying at least twice a week. I graduated from what would be considered the Harvard of my country but I truly wish I just pursued my long-time interest towards acting and/or Youtube instead because my career rendered me soulless and I'm passively depressed because of it.

  4. The last guy is forgetting about chaos. Yeah, going backwards you can trace things, but forwards far enough and it's infinite possibilities because of chaos

  5. As someone from the UK, I’d say the girl from London was maybe a bit biased in saying the Queen’s death didn’t divide the country. I think it sort of did. There were protests, there were arrests. Many young people are Republicans not monarchists, and the queen never apologized for many bad actions done by the government and authorized by her. It wasn’t a crazy divide like Brexit or the elections, but still. I know some people who even celebrated her death, considering it meant possible independence for their islands.

  6. What's up with the accent change with the british person? Seemed like you were having to hold back from imitating lol. With the previous guy your accent was much more realistic and natural sounding

  7. I appreciate with the first guy, he was resisting the urge to give advice and was more interested in just talking it out together. Seemed like they reached a better result with that approach

  8. i loved watching everyones segments 😭💖💖 also seeing everyones postures? i always thought i sat in chairs like those weirdly but its nice to see its not just me lol im glad the british girl is taking time out for herself and i hope she gets to keep seeing more of the world and doing charity work!

  9. 25:50. my humor is more of an underlying humor, so sometimes my friends dont really understand why i laugh, and when they do understand its too late. fx when i see a girl drunk, i dont laugh at how goofy she looks while drunk, i laugh at the fact that she is trying to be goofy.

  10. Love how real of a conversation most of these turn into. Actually helpful advice and information I'm sure a lot of people just watching need to hear.

  11. at 8:43 in the video: Geck, you sounded a little downtrodden that you didn't become a doctor or something, but I can tell you as an engineer with a stressful job, you are who I watch when I get home and it helps me appreciate all these different people's perspectives, and I've learned from your incredibly accepting and open nature at wanting to help others

  12. I am a masters student at a prestigious university in UK, and this video encapsulates so many beautiful and relevant ideas that i and clearly other students have. I have to applaud the gecko for genuinely being such an amazing conversation facilitator.
