24. i wish you'd read this, and get what im saying..
    we all know you two are the best musicians in your instrument.. but every song im seeing lately is like a noodling demo to show it all off. like "how funny, yall can do a jazz section".. that was neat the FIRST time ya did it!
    listen to some godsmack like "i stand alone" and get inspired. imagine if that band had you guys, how sick songs like that could be. noodling isn't the answer. your both amazing, maybe it's time to get a really good vocalist, hire someone who makes really good meaningful poetry for the lyrics, maybe collaborate with the best songwriters and learn.. and just make some really neat songs. listen to "Stevie Nicks Landslide" (hers is better than the original) and listen to "Kansas – Dust in the Wind" listen to "Kid Rock – Bawitdaba" or "Boston – More than a feeling" or just about any journey or queen song. im sure you would agree, their songs are better, more meaningful, more classic. WHY? you find that out and you can do what im asking you for.
    you guys are NOT restricted by any genre, song length, ANYTHING. there ARE 3+ min songs that get radio play, "Bohemian Rhapsody – Queen" is a SIX MINUITE SONG!!!! and it didn't conform AT ALL, but it was EXTREMELY good! it got radio play! it does if it's the good shit (and if you got a buddy in the radio station). not that radioplay even matters as much anymore.. you guys are good enough to do whatever you want, and you have the ability and creativity to make anything great. you just gotta do it for real. you guys could be remembered by history like Motzart and yet yall are noodling.

    i sit at home wasting my life away, and i missed my shot. yeah you guys have guaranteed careers, but it's not about the money, your music could be heard hundreds of years from now like some of those other songs i mentioned, if they were as good as those songs. but instead ur both more noodley then a plate of spaghetti. and the music doesn't mean shit to anybody.
    "Guns N' Roses – Estranged" was a neat musical piece. lots of stuff in there that would maybe take a musician to understand. your music could be like that. you either get it, or you don't.. i guess.. if you even read this at all, if you even care about what i say. i hope you do read this, and i hope you think long and hard about it. yall have the potential to be REALLY great.
