This is the insane true story of MotoRex, a company that first brought the Nissan GT-R to America, and the criminal who got them banned.

Thank you guys so much for checking out the first episode of our new weekly show Lore Garage. Just want to give a shout out to our Animator Richard @Romthirty_vfx and my good buds Chance and Audrey for helping bring this vision together. Please let us know what stories you’d like to see us cover next I want to keep making these videos till the Sun blows up.
Also quick lore for you guys, technically the first R32 GTR in the USA was actually a race car that competed in the 1994 Rolex Daytona 24 hours. There was another R32 that was also brought in as well with the race car for Turbo magazine but it was more of a street car. – Jimmy <3
EDIT: MCNASTY IS ALIVE.
It breaks my heart to see the fate of the yellow R33 'Big Bird.' As a Sunburst Yellow FD3S and Red FC3S owner in Japan, I've always respected the legacy MotoRex built, despite the scandal. Seeing a piece of JDM history get crushed is a pain every car enthusiast feels. Greetings from the rotary home in Japan! 🇯🇵🌀
I actually met with him at his Motorex Torrance office back in 2000 as I was living in Tokyo at the time (and visiting LA where I grew up) and was about to purchase a R34 (then bring it back after my stint in Tokyo). Good or bad I decided not to buy one and if I had brought the car in to the US, not sure the car may have been confiscated. Maybe Donut can go into a bit more details around how Motorex "leveraged / faked" R33 crash test results for R32 and R34……..
And you are so full of nonsense because both Toyota and Nissan for a short amount of time did sell not only the skyline but the supras in America till emissions quickly shut them down and they couldn't sell those cars No more in the states, in my local city, the Nissan and Toyota dealership was right beside each other practically and on the showroom floor at both locations in the 90s was A Skyline GT R and MK2 supra
I wish these Google search knows how to read the brochure wannabe car Enthusiasts would go on somewhere giving real car. Enthusiasts a bad name with this hipster tryhard trash.
And I Said Why Leon Never Come with Family Furious to next Part anymore
No wonder people bailed on doughnut. Who's this dweeb?
My brother moved to Milwaukee Wisconsin and I give him shit for this all the time. “I can’t visit you I’m not going to a state that destroyed a hero car”😂😂
The 25 year rule is so stupid. They could make so much money off taxes and import fees + some sort of insurance if people could import whatever they want.
Getting tired of the 80s video game videos
They should have known better and just put some s14 zenki vins on it like what everyone else did before the 25yr law
Good to see Donut back on the much needed high quality knowledge dumps
"Remember kids, not really a smart idea to keep the packaging of a weapon that you used in a crime" great advice dude
The most unrealistic things about the first two f&f movies: a gtr being a background character in 2001 and Paul Walker finding a clapped dusty one in a shady dealership in the middle of nowhere.
What's the name of the song at 1:55?
No, it's 2020 and Craig Lieberman the actual technical advisor for the film covered this more than once.
ps1 graphics are PEAK
The GTR debuted in America on my 1st birthday? Wild.
F&F should reboot their whole saga and start with “hero” and I’ll play him lmaooo
what a crazy story. you can only wonder how the company would be if it was still around today
First video in a long time that didn’t feel forced. I like it
Graphics and clear story telling are a good improvement. Might resubscribe.
Bigbird with the UPRD logo, brings back last century memories, Dayum! Btw UPRD stands for "UNDER PRESSURE RACING DEVELOPMENT"
EPA 😂😂 it's E.P.A.
Story gets so ridiculous they could use it to make another F&F movie
