Those people include a woman visiting from Australia who tells us some family secrets, a young man attempting to become a cultural icon through running, a former Tokyo Disneyland employee, and many more people too.

Man, that woman got the worst of both worlds. Elementary in Japan where you get prepared for all the brain molding to fit into society and then to american high school, where they brainwash kids into all the gender confusion nonsense and to stand out as much as you can, be an activist and rebel to anything normal.
I was watching this with my Japanese gf and she said it felt a bit "icky" as in comedy doesn't really translate well. and the people being interviewed don't really understand the concept of the interviews. since he's in a gecko outfit people will assume its a comedy bit and they're joking with Lyle but he's not really reciprocating the jokes in a Japanese way. I didn't really get it but she says it felt a little awkward.
it's kinda inspiring to see how aspirational the youth of japan are. if you ask an american these same questions, most would just say their goal is to have their own home and a nice job. it's crazy for most of us to ever even dream about the world cup, or that we have the ability to change the world
