10. Bruh, I live in Australia and when I was younger and worked at HJ, they would make us clean the Petrol Station bathrooms because of complaints (we were on the side of a highway). Even though it wasn’t part of our job and not even connected to our store. We weren’t really told how to clean it, just given a bunch of chemicals and told to do it ‘quickly’ – the amount of vomit, piss, blood, diarrhoea and coom we had to clean up there as kids is fucking crazy (cause they would only make us younger ones do it, since the managers were always gone off smoking). After quite a few incidents where a bunch of younger girls were threatened and assaulted (since we had to clean the men’s bathroom too) they EVENTUALLY hired a professional cleaner right as I quit, I was there for 4 years. To this day I have germaphobe issues from that place… and horror stories

16. As a former custodian/janitor: shutting down the area is crucial for cleaning. If your supervisor has a problem with it, you can ask them to clean up while you apply for a new job. Their tones change quickly.

19. Everyone in the comment section out here is acting like Bloodborn pathogen prevention, and OPIM training isn't a thing for retail employees on clean up. The only iffy thing is the access and supplies for thattype of location.

    Like, I dont blame him for being done and disgusted at all. But as a janitor, I assure you that a hazmat suit is uneeded for bodily fluids, just a mask and sterile gloves.

21. I was a kid once and how do you even do that?

22. Had a similar experience while working at a waterpark. Some kid shited down a waterslide and I was forced to clean it on my own. Suffice to say, I quitted not long after.
