A couple of times a year in the early 2000s, we would drive to Philly to hang out with friends. We’d hit up the street races and then take over to a Park and Ride to fuck around for hours. Not that kind of takeover.

I was a baby at this time, damn ik we are technically still pretty early on in this century but so much has changed in the passed 20 years I wish I could experience this
This is the scene i missed. Grew up right after all this went down. Still a local to the Philly area.
The car community was so fresh and clean, that every car u wanted to take a look at it and amire everyone's work. ❤

Dude I swear, if only this car culture had the online shopping capabilities that we have today. It would've been NUTS.
The car scene hit different back then. Nobody wants reliable vehicles anymore. They want to lease for a few years and then trade. Rinse, repeat.
