What would you do if you were the guest on the boat and the owner ordered you to keep following him and ignore the police? That would be an uncomfortable situation. lol
The US is no longer a free country. These bootjack hooligans are bringing our freedoms to an end.
Any officers listening, here's an idea. Put yourself in the victims shoes and ask yourself if you'd be upset and/or annoyed if someone assaulted and tasered you. Even if the force was justified, wouldn't you still be upset?

These rangers think they own the lake.
The business owner was not rude – he had to yell because of the distance. He stated clearly the situation and how he was going to take care of his customers who were in trouble.
The rangers were imbicilic assholes.
Ehhhh… dude brought a lot of headache on himself. Everyone wants to say "fuck around, find out"… until they do.
Just a couple thugs with badges and guns. That's why there is no respect for police anymore .
Rangers are glorified security guards. They’re not even real cops. They’re park narcs. 😂
They were so determined to escalate, barking out repetitive orders and doing everything they could to make the situation worse. Clearly a case of retaliation to satisfy their childish anger. Zero emotional control. Zero self-awareness. These are not people you want around during a crisis. Some people just can't handle that kind of authority without turning into a monster. They are extremely lucky that there hasn't been a worse legal outcome for them, although I don't know if a lawsuit may be brewing.
As always, it's troubling to see how efficiently the prosecutors closed ranks to protect this clown brigade's right to throw embarassing tantrums. I can only hope there have been some internal, behind-the-scenes consequences, maybe they were put on desk duty or shipped to a remote park in Alaska.
I think there is a way better way that everyone could have handled this.
