8. i dont want to hear about right to record on this one. walmart is private property. as long as you are on PRIVATE PROPERTY. you CAN BE ASKED TO STOP FILMING! stepping out into the parking lot does not exempt this. walmart maintains the parking and they lease/own the land the parking lot sits on. now if the building is ajoined to another business. you can step on THEIR property nad hope that they let you film.

Let’s presume he still has a different person is trespassed those items that he’s returning to the guy‘s wife’s girlfriend whatever those are evidence that he was actually in the premise that he’s handing them away, they would be considered evidence, and should be sequestered and handled and treated as evidence, and most importantly, the receipt showing that he was in the store

14. It doesn’t matter what other issues the guy has he’s been seized based on a mess identification, and the cop didn’t bother to try and figure that out no investigation at all. He simply walked in and sees the guy that security pointed to that’s a wrongful arrest.

25. Jeez. They could of just asked him to leave. Arrested is a bit much. I've worked in Loss Prevention for 15 years, and this is just too much. I've told people not come back for at least 2 years, since the handbooks are vague about trespassing. The Loss Prevention person is not completely at fault unless he asked the officer to press charges. However, I also know a lot of "LP" who power trip and think they are cops. Working at a high risk stores, will humble your a$$ fast. I've been punched, stabbed (once in the leg, another time in the hand), pepper sprayed, and even had guns pointed at me. It teaches you to treat people like people. I even made friends with some of the homeless folks, and I would sometimes buy them a soda, or water, or a few single $ just so they would stay away from the store. I've seen people come back to the store after a couple of years, and for the most part they would just be nervous to get in trouble. I wouldn't have called the cops. I'd wait to see if they would shoplift again, otherwise, I'd leave them alone. This was excessive.

26. I’m shocked that you gave the officer such a high score. Every police video I have ever seen (unless the suspect was actively a threat to themselves or others) the officer asked for an ID (or at least a name) before arresting them. As long as they are acting calm, it usually goes requesting them to step aside as they talk first. After finding out the name, they could have checked with the security to see if he had any active trespass warnings. Instead the cop didn’t bother asking for his name until they got to the station. Sure it might be understandable after being pointed out, and they turned when the name was called (although I have definitely turned towards someone that yelled out an incorrect name but still obviously directed at me before), but checking the suspect’s identity (or at least try to) before leaving the scene is like day one training to be a cop.
