5. I've actually had this same thought, when hearing of the orcas sinking the boats and these latest shark fatalities. Only time will tell. If we see a large increase in animals attacking humans and predating on them.. well then..

6. From another comment I saw 100 million sharks are killed per year. That's 1 billion every 10 years. Also, keep this in mind: 99% of habitable space on earth is in the ocean. Also, that 100m number is from a group that sounds possibly biased towards exaggerating. I read that they "love to hire from boston university", the most liberal college in MA. Sounds like ocean peta. I personally trust Manny's opinions either way. He is not shy from being protective of endangered sharks and animals, and he actually observes them.

7. I'm a huge fan of Manny, but I've never been so inspired by him before. I want to go outside for awhile now. Really let go of some of life's stress and be in the wilderness. I'm in the PNW and it's been awhile since I was alone in the woods. There are places; lakes, streams, volcanic mountians, gorges, literally different climates near me. People aren't there. It is guaranteed that the places which are hard to get at are empty and the entire public wilderness is free for me to rome. Thanks Manny.

20. The coyotes are so overpopulated Where I live in Florida. I live on the nature coast which is the West Coast of Florida. It's all protected land, mostly. Here in Homosassa Springs, Florida… Coyotes, bobcats, black bears and Eastern diamondback rattlesnakes, are so overpopulated now!! I used to never see coyotes out really during the daytime. Now they are out crossing our roads getting picked up on ring cameras.

43. I couldn’t stop watching this interview. But I have a bunch of questions for Manny which might be considered stupid, but our family goes to beaches (2x/year give or take) and as the dad of a young girl I was in horror hearing Manny tell the story of the parents seeing their daughter killed by 3 sharks! How far is too far to wander into the water at the beach (Northern beach and or Southern). Maybe the answer would be very situational. I grew up with JAWS movie. I was like NOPE! The pool looks fine for about 1 or 2 years.
