23. this debate is definitely generational bc i grew up on barney and still have such fond memories of all the episodes. they brought me such comfort and joy on a regular basis bc i pretty much wore out my VHS tapes. i don't get derosa's argument of "when i was a teen i didn't get the appeal bc there was no weight or texture to him." like, you're not the demographic. they weren't trying to get you to watch. hearing barney was that hated by adults truly confused me bc, again, as a toddler/kid, i was obsessed.
