15. This makes me feel so bad for enjoying Ben's knee KO by Masvidal and all the trashing people did of him prior to the boxing match. I listened to this around the day it came out and it made me really like Ben. The YouTube guy he fought I already couldn't look at. He's one of the most unlikable people I've seen footage of who isn't a violent dictatoror serial killer. I'm a casual UFC fan so I kinda went along with the diehards in my opinion of Ben but no where near their oozing contempt, which is sad bc they're not fighting. After his immediate tweet after the big Masvidal KO that said "well that sucked" and this talk I've decided he's one of my favorite UFC fighters. Masvidal became a favorite after that knee too. It's amazing how hearing someone like Ben being himself in this made me really respect him. I don't think the boxing YouTube narcissist will ever do anything to make me think "he seems like a cool guy." I'm sure every fan of fighting sports has daydreamed about what kind of fighter they'd want to be and who they'd want to fight. When I have I always think the number one guy I wouldn't want to fight is Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone. Reason being is after hearing some interviews he's seems like a full on rad dude and reminds me of some guys I grew up with in the Colorado mountains which is a full on rad place to grow up. As far a guys went in my hometown there's was no hicks vs skaters vs hicks vs goths vs punks vs nu-metalheads vs nerds vs burnouts vs fill in the blank. There weren't even many fights. The few I knew had nothing to do the last sentance. For a town of mostly white kids we probably had the most diverse parties. I mostly hung with skateboarders/snowboarders outside of school but the hicks were some of my favorite people, esp to party with. Don't think I'd want to fight Dustin Poirier too after learning how dedicated he is to charity and seems like a humble awesome guy. I can't hate on Conor McGregor much bc I have addict genes and after one of the worst times of my life when I really wanted to quit drinking bc I'd start the booze train up every day starting around 4-5pm everyday. That schedule lasted 2-3 years. I was able to cut way back and then I got blessed with the offer to watch a friend's house and dog while him & his family left town for 2 weeks. He had a good home gym. I think that's when a found out about Conor from throwing on different videos while lifting weights. He was already popular and I dug his shit talking. He was so inspiring then and it got me to workout harder plus more cardio running with the dog. Got me out of that mind-state and into a way more positive one. Still took longer to quit drinking for good. That's kind of a bond with Conor I guess but he's not as inspiring as he was which is funny bc he's a unique specimen of success in more that just UFC now but I'd never want all the expensive crap he likes and shows off. Simplicity and minimalism is what I dig. Not worrying about money to live off and having extra to help where help is needed would be nice though. I bet if he got into surfing and lived close enough to it to paddle out everyday he'd lighten his load a ton and stood dressing like a fancy lad. If any skateboarders read this look up the Boston area skate brand)team called fancy lad skateboards if you don't know them. Total outcasts doing strange and interesting skateboarding. No one else skates like the fancy ladders

Dude you keep talking about your skating (and its pretty fuckin rad compared to what I can do on one) you should contact Braille skateboarding on YouTube and try to push for a colab I think it would be beneficial to you and the skating community Braille is cool as fuck and putting in sooo much effort to get people into and progress at skating …. tfl its kinda a beautiful thing
