40 thoughts on “NEVER rent a car in Europe! This is so much better

  1. Really like this channel but, the whole time I'm watching this I thinking, where did this mid-30 yr old guy earn this type of lifestyle. Then I found out that his father earns hundreds of millions if not billions as a high power lawyer and real-estate developer. So maybe that helps answer that question. I'm not putting him down, who wouldn't if the could right but, it just gave me a perspective on his lavish lifestyle.

  2. I'm thinking my "be all, end all" European driving trip would be Driving England/Scotland in a vintage XK-E, or Doing the 'Ring in a RUF 930. Then hit the Autobahn for some long countryside driving, taking in the eye candy that is western Europe.

  3. I'm the same way with older cars. I prefer them. A few more miles but a fat stack of service reciepts means that the previous owner replaced all of the things that wear out or break in new cars.

  4. Jeezus, i'ts just a small freaking abscess- it's kind of pimple, but bigger, one could just drain even much bigger, developed ones with just a syringe and if his immune system isn't as whiny as this guy is, he could then just go on with his very important day as if it's nothing. Because it is nothing.

  5. I kinda feel people with money and connections don’t have to follow the normal daily steps that us plebes take.

Other suitable solutions would be to buy ownership in a company in Europe, then ask to use the company car while in town. Or go through your list of friends and see who has family or friends in that country that could lend you their Ferrari to drive while you are there.

And I guess the opposite could work as well: find a car in the US like a Dodge Demon or something very American that is tough to get in Europe (classic 60’s muscle car?), import that to Europe, drive it around, then sell it there before heading home.

  6. I have to agree, each time I go to Europe, I buy a car. Two times I bought cars from Europe and arranged to have them put on the boat on my behalf. I once took a three day trip just to put a car on a boat.

  7. I had heart surgery on a Friday once…and I said to the doc "don't put me under for surgery before I have a chance to finish this article. Because I may not come out of this alive, but I'll be damned if the last thing I do on Earth is miss a deadline." I wasted 15 minutes of a surgeon's time, but I got that article in.

I was reminded of that when a guy's got his hand going septic and all he can think of is going to a car event. Priorities are weird.

  8. No F'in way you went into that much detail with pictures and diagrams, and not finish that story, what is wrong with you. ?
So you say later you had to have it amputated due to the fact you had a flesh eating disease. ?
