6. Not even close. An Audi 2.7 Allroad was a great car. If you wanted terrible, buy an Audi 3.0 liter A6 front wheel drive. I put 200k on a 2.7. Allroad with only regular maintenance and regular leak sealing, and a complete suspension replacement 😅.

8. I brought a 230,000 mile 2012 C220 Merc for £3000 and it's still like driving a new car, I'm actually surprisingly impressed by it for my first Merc. I've never tried an Audi personally. I'm not sure I'd go for an Allroad personally. But I'm in the UK, we seem to have different vehicular tastes for normal daily drivers. Maybe if you ever try this again, see if you can find a Merc 😀

12. Making it home and breaking down in the driveway is an Audi thing. I had a 2004 A8L that I was driving home on about 175 mile trip. About 50 miles in it started to hiccup and the primary fuel pump started making noise. At about 100 mile into the trip the engine started cutting out but restarted every time in neutral while coasting. As soon as I pulled into my driveway and I put in park the engine quit and wouldn’t restart again. It may died but at least it’ll do it in a convenient place.

20. Wow, green exterior/green interior B6 Allroad! I knew a guy here in LA that had one, he said that combo is called a "Kermit". He reached out to Audi corporate and they told him maybe 300-400 of these were built with that spec. Mechanically, it was as awful as this one is.

24. The 2.7 30 valve audi biturbo engine is amazing with 260 hp it can easy make over 400 hp this the same engine as the audi s4 of that generation it might just be running hot since it hot out

25. Your first breakdown reeks of crapped out alternator killing battery. Had that happen to me. Your case it seems to just about keeping the battery at 12V, but not faster then the car consumes voltage opposed to killing it outright.
