Nice product. The grinder has a screened area with a little tool stuck behind it and not sure how to get it out/what to do with it. It rattles in there. There is no smell proof bag. Otherwise a nice little set.
This is a moderately decent set. The case is made with a sturdy zipper and good materials. The 2 jars and grinder fit compactly inside with a nice sesh tray fitting on top. The grinder is decently large in size and satisfyingly smooth to use too. For these reasons I’ve given it 4 stars.
However, I am less impressed with the glass jars. They have a nice smoked glass appearance, which I like, but their lids are loose and low quality. The jars sit snug in a styrofoam base when in the case and when pushing the jar into place with my thumb the lid cracked (see picture, I’ve only used this kit for a couple days).
I had some concerns with the styrofoam base when first receiving the kit too. It had a strong chemical smell. I disassembled everything and let it air out for a day before using and it seems to have helped.
I believe the inner felt material may prove to be hard to clean plant material out of, but it does provide a nice interface for the glass jars.
Overall, the grinder alone and the compactness of the kit make it a great value.
