16. I don't know if Drake really has sinister intent cuz I clearly don't know the man. I do know he came up under Wayne who was the king of features. I don't recall anyone giving Wayne heat for trying to sabotage anyone's career. Also, when a more established artist gives an up and coming a feature, it's always a mutually beneficial partnership. The older artist gets a buzz from being attached to something new and trendy. The new artist gets a cosign. I think part of the problem is public perception being so quick to call people who are literally just starting out, still building their fanbases, flops. Of course, they're not about to do Drake numbers. At the same time you still have to continue to grind as an artist and produce good music to prosper as a solo act. You can't coast on a Drake feature.
