47 thoughts on “The Truth About ILLEGAL Influencer Giveaways

  1. So how can we be 100% sure free entries are treated the same as paid entries? These "giveaways" aren't very transparent in their selections and they're like "we'll call 'ya if 'ya win".
I highly doubt free entries are being treated the same as paid. Also what if the content creator limits free entries but paid entries are limitless? isn't that illegal?

  2. This happened to me recently and they contacted me! They wanted me to pay a fee of $3500 for my brand to be included 😂

Like they contacted me! Why would I pay y’all?

Then send the product also? NO

  3. Great video but I still cannot seem to find information on where the free entries go. For example, on some giveaways you can enter by mailing in a paper with your info on it and that counts as an entry for the giveaway. I am wondering, who does this go to? Is someone taking in all of these letters and actually reading them? And also, how are entries recorded? Is it one person's job to enter every single entry on a spreadsheet? and then how is that randomized? So many questions!! Lol.

  4. How likely if a giveaway has a mail in option, if I do it. I actually get an entry and everything is on the up and up. It's up to the government to audit. There's like a million giveaways. How can they oversee everything.

  5. So when you see no purchase necessary option to mail in an entry. Is there a maximum amount of entry request you could send in? Like can you mail 3 envelopes to get 3 entries or are you limited to one mail in entry only?

  6. In Brazil, that's totally legal, all you have to do is submit your giveaway with proper gov org. The actual lotery in Brazil is done by a government owned bank. (I have no opinion, good or bad about it, just a fact).

  7. Soooooooo… you're saying the government blatantly tells the public it's illegal to host a lottery, yet it hosts its own massive lottery while telling the public to put complete faith in how the funds are distributed. I mean… 16% percent "administrative" fees for a lottery that can balloon to over 100 million dollars! 16 million dollars to spin a bunch of balls in a container.

I think the focus is on the wrong entity here! LOL

  8. So called "attorney" lives in a $500 month bedroom he rented off Craigslist. Not to say he isn't an attorney/lawyer, but very suspect. I do agree with most of the material though. Each state will vary. It's all SALES, if you don't know, now you know. P.S. If you are too dumb to know better, you get what you get.
