  1. I remember i bought 5 because I was doing a turbo swap, and I kept thinking it was an engine harness or an ecu, so I bought shells to take parts from. Eventually, my dad got mad, and I scrapped them all not wanting to argue with him. I regret it

  2. My parents had a 1977 Toyota Celica in the early 2000's, I loved that car to bits but we were running out of space and my dad decided to sell it for less then $500. They asked me if I wanted it and I should of said yes.

  3. I bput a talon fpr 2000, it was all wheel drive rurned up the turbo and made about 8,000 before i blew it up and bought another. I could of bought 270 zs for 2,000, , Rx8s for 2000, so many good cars, ahhhhhh

  4. I was so stupid I passed up a 300zx twin turbo for 7000, had 60,000 miles and was cherry. I got a 5,000$ wrangler and got mad chick's, but the sports cars they sell now there all under 10,000 more around 5 or 7 thousand back in early 2000s

  5. I mean

    First you buy the car

Then you gotta maintain it cost money a car just sitting for years we see how that goes.
Then you gotta have a good parking space costs money
Then you gotta have insurance cost money

Then if you drive it alot the value goes down.

I allways say we can all have regrets I have many car regrets too but the value of cars for me isnt in $ it is in the joy I get out of each car for as long as I drive it take care of it and love it. And let say you make a profit of 10k or 20k after many years you will just spend it on other car projects and loose it all. 😉

  6. I bought a 1990 rx7 (convertible, not turbo) in 1997. I had it 17 years. Almost no problems. Wish I still had it. not so fast, lousy mpg. Mazda slogan at the time "it just feels right." it sure did. balanced, great brake feels. I moved out of the US for wife's work, otherwise I would still be driving my rx7.

  7. The MKIV.:R32. Only a few of these super VWs were imported into the USA in 2004. The only R32s that had 6spd manual transmission. You can make a ton of money if you have a low mileage mint condition model.

  8. All you kids kind of forget that every year there’s less and less of the cars available. That’s why they cost more. There’s only so many that survived 35+ years. Plus inflation. In 30 years you’ll all be complaining you didn’t buy X car today when it was “cheap”.
