30 thoughts on “Cop DEFENDS Citizen Against His Partner!

  1. Honestly the fact that ifficer dickhead didnt argue with or attempt to arrest him when he repeatedly refused to comply with his orders to stop recording and stop talking shows me that he knew that his orders werent legal in the first place and was just trying to abuse his power

  2. These cops literally have made me ill. The bald cop (curly from the 3 stooges) is the type of person who gets off bullying people and is a blatant liar.also he is ready to go off on people for doing the slightest thing. He is very dangerous.

  3. I always utilize my entire lane especially in traffic. If I'm in the smaller vehicle that I have I always use all of my lane because it is advantageous to be able to look around and make sure that people see you. I think the idea of swerving back and forth in your lane is ridiculous

  4. the whole 'dont film cops within X distance' is about bystanders not under investigation cannot come into/interfere with the investigative area.. however if the person filming is the suspect/subject under investigation. then the suspect/subject can film upclose as they are in the investigative zone and part of it and cannot leave it(detained/arrested)

  5. I hate that these cops seem to always be butt hurt about being film. Mainly because there's cameras everywhere these days. Every other house has a ring door bell and or cameras. Also he's doing the exact same thing, he wearing a body cam. It's so dumb it frustrating to watch over and over.

  6. 16:16 He gets away with it because no law says he can't That's why we need laws like Arizona that carves out the stopped or people in homes or cars on the 8 foot rule. Other wise cops will snatch phones all they want with no lawsuit able to punish them, because there's no laws on it. How should they know they shouldn't do that???

  7. Arizona law was good law that protected our rights. Why? COPS KEEP ARRESTING PEOPLE FOR FILMING SO WE NEED RULES ON HOW TO DO SO. "But the courts will fix it" Legally depending on state, 15 feet is as close you are allowed to be to film an arrest. COURTS HAVE LAWS ON THIS BUT STATES CAN'T. That's how dumb this argument is with saying states can't make laws on it when courts do all the time out of their ass because THERE IS NO LAW ON IT.

  8. There are no perfectly flat, perfectly straight lanws ANYWHERE in America. Roads curve and rise and fall and vary fir all 5 million miles. If he was within the lines, then he was not committing any offense.

  9. As bad as this power-hungry cop was I blame the leadership of this Police Department for not properly training these cops in something so basic and controversial as filming police and other government employees actions and what the distance requirements are as established by a number of higher courts. This portrays to me lazy leadership and leads to the incalculable constitutional violations on a daily basis by their police force.
We can put a stop to this madness by eliminating that qualified immunity except maybe in very extreme circumstances.
If these cops had to pay out of their own pockets for their mistakes and their ignorance and a parent disregard for your constitutional rights instead of the taxpayers when they lose these cases …..I can guarantee you that almost overnight these cops would become PhD qualified in their constitutional responsibilities when it comes to interactions with the public in their jurisdictions . I think if these cops lost their jobs, their homes, their trucks, their boats, and anything else of value when they blatantly violate our rights the majority of the things we see going wrong especially in low-level incidents like the ones in this video would come to a complete halt letting the taxpayers and their insurance companies off the hook for paying for the poor training of officers and the apparent lack of concerns for the citizens by the leadership in not having their cops trained. There are people in this country working hard to get rid of qualified immunity, you should look them up and if you agree with their goals and objectives join the group and fight for our rights. With tens of millions of police contact with civilians every year in this country country we have to know that our rights are being violated more than we could ever calculate. Just visualize this young cop in this video after he has a few years on the street how many people's rights he will violate with hopefully no one getting seriously hurt. Can you imagine what a cop like this could do with somebody if they had them cornered in the dark of night out behind the 7-Eleven over by the dumpster. That citizen would be lucky to only need a few Band-Aids and not end up in the hospital with life-threatening injuries with wires and tubes coming out of their body. Don't get me wrong…..I support the good cops but until the good cops step up and help stop this madness they are in my mind part of the problem because like this out of shape cop in the video they just stand by and watch and let it happen. If these cops don't want to learn the law and respect a Citizens constitutional rights they need to turn in that gun, hang up that uniform and go find work in another industry because they are obviously not emotionally and mentally fit to carry that deadly weapon….

  10. I've said it before and I'll say it again- law enforcement needs to stand behind their constitutional oath. "If you aren't doing anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about" is wrong and flawed. A traffic infraction can lead to other criminal charges- however, if the officer is rolling on ego and they'll just make it up as they go- it's absolutely a violation of our rights as citizens. Thank God that video recording devices exist today, because imagine how many officers pulled this off in the past based on their word alone. Thank God for smartphones. Cameras don't lie. Use them to make sure your rights aren't violated and law enforcement doesn't get too comfortable with how they do their job

  11. They should both get an f, the guy immediately got out of his vehicle and was confrontational from the start, was yelling at the officer, and was a complete ass. Both of these dudes were power tripping
