3. Not sure if the OG that went west was triangle but growing up in FL the true FL kush strain is Triangle. There is no way to mistake it. Have a medical card now and I’ve gotten a cut from trulieve a month or so ago and it was TK light is the best way to describe it. The TK smell was there but it wasn’t in your face like it used to be, it’s possible the batch the I got wasn’t the best but I’m really hoping that’s not what people think real triangle is.

13. Who remembers the planetary OG era, mars, earth, Pluto, Jupiter, Venus, jet fuel moonwalker OGs. Btw all the original strains brought by most landraces were towering Sativa. The short stunted big leaf plants like Hindu or Afghan Kush are a relatively new breed, meant to grow high yield low profile.

32. sour but i'm from NYC you could find some good OG in NY sometimes but for the most part it was a lot of garbage. Now sour at its height was always fire in NY

This is a really good doco but I wish you would have touched more on Afghani and how the hippy highway brought these seeds back to places in Cali (which actually shares some what of the same environment as some of the places its grown). Honestly have a lot of cool stories my Grandpa told me from the hippy highway back in the day. One i vividly remember is a friend he had who was trying to snuggle hash put of Iran to Germany in an old VW in hollowed out boards lol. My grandfather taught english in the region in the 60s till around the 80s. Mainly iran and Saudi
