1:15 Nah… Kid Rock ALWAYS sucked. Just sayin…
Nu-metal kid in the haus. This is like old school MTV news. 🤘🤘
Jumping from one genre to another, making as much money as he can, and never given anything back as far as culture or bring up, younger artist !
Finn Mckenty is a poser
This is your Magical era in rock?🤦
No offense to you or your channel but kid rock doesn't deserve any attention… Hes the ultimate industry plant imo.
I've seen Mark live and it sucked. Kid Rock on the other hand sounds great live . My opinion. Looks wise I like Kid Rock over Mark always did.
I would choose Jonathan Davis over both of them. Lol So I know people don't care about my opinion. Lol.
If you have to ask yourself this you weren't a kid rock fan when Joe C around. You said Mark McGrath was huge? for a single song? Kid Rock was 1000x that fame.
Its funny all the hack music channels are interacting now. Oh boy bring a guy with some of the worst metal taste on all of the internet on to talk about an obvious question.
Sugar Ray actually started out as a Nu Metal band with there songs Mean Machine Iron Mic , RPM and 10 Seconds Down
Absolutely love Kid Rock
My dad and mom love him and I have the best parents in the world
Deff nu metal girl ❤
I think it's funny that only conservatives are called "polarizing."
Both of your channels are great!
The gold rope chains speaks loudly about that time period. All you need is a diamond cluster ring or 2!!!
All I Can Say Is… Pamela!
Born in 85 grew up with these genres in FL but RN im actually not far drom Ashtabula! Lol
Who Cares what Kid racist say f him
1999
I love KID ROCK ❤❤❤
Getting Pam in her prime is something that only a few can claim. Him and Tommy are Eskimo brothers
" get more asth than Mark Mcgrath"
easy on Ohio Finn
my sister worked at the waffle house he got into little trouble at, how I got his auto
AKA ROBERT JAMES RICHIE
YOU CAN'T NOT HATE KID ROCK
Wow, this whole thing is cringe. You guys are weird. 😂🥴
I'm a tad older, more into thrash, death and hair metal. i started getting confused on the emerging music scene in the mid 90s. while working on a film production for a commercial (i was a loser PA) the producers daughter approximately 13 years old was on set. she looked really hip and i had to ask her what is she into nowadays (because I was old and out of the loop, at age 25) she smiled showing her braces and without hesitation said to me "it's all about Mark McGrath". my eyes rolled at that not being a Sugar Ray fan myself at the time. I just shook my head and felt like the world chaged for the worse but carried on into the new world Mark McGrath then ruled in.
I grew up doing nu-metal, too. Not that I dressed it really- I never was a style guy but I listened to a lot of it. My jam in middle to high school was Papa Roach. I was going, "Yeah, they're so profound. The things you own DO OWN YOU, dude! It's soo true. " inhales Now they're sort of the band I cringe the most at lyrically but musically they still check out, mostly.
I think you're going to like this. Back in the day Mark McGrath hosted 100 Most Shocking Moments in Rock and Roll History on VH1. I was like, "WTF is he doing hosting this? Sugar Ray is the least shocking band in history. LULZ." Well, I later learned that actually Mark McGrath is essentially a walking encyclopedia on rock and roll history. He apparently knows EVERYTHING. So I think actually that might be why he came on that show.
I like that story because props to him for boning up and being that much of a fan and that interested. I love rock and roll, too. The most devoted people in rock and roll to rock and roll other than Mark are probably Lou Reed and Lemmy Kilmister. Guys that absolutely go to the mat for it and metaphorically bleed it. KoRn did a video in which they were replaced by rappers as a commentary on how few rock videos were getting played at that time on MTV.
Mark McGrath- did not know he was a man of the people but I did and do know he has a sense of humor. Oh man, getting the 2 degrees of McGrath here. I can feel the energons.
I like SOME of his music but I don't care for the person he is,but that's OK.
The crazy thing about this too is Kid Rock was in Joe Dirt, McGrath was in Joe Dirt 2 😂
Talk about a name dropper, “you now can now officially say that you are friends with a friend of Mark McGrath.” 🤪
Even Britney Spears.
What I like about Kid is that he tells it how he sees it and doesn’t give a shit about what anyone thinks about it. That’s an absolute badass in my book
I can hate on a guy who tries to tell everybody what to drink, or what not to drink, depending on how he feels that day. How un-American.
Sugar Ray was Nu-Metal not many remember lemonade and brownies. a must own for any music collector.
Yes….Ive seen Kid Rock, love it!
I'd always pick Mark McGrath anyway over skid rock lol
yep 39 here youre not alone. Nu metal was my high school soundtrack.
Kid Rock sucks.
I still have Lemonade and Brownies, and Floored, in my regular music rotation.
Dude totally it was all the weekend morning video countdowns, the radio playing limp bizkit, adema, Korn, sum 41 😂 it was just our era just like other generations even if it’s foreign to us at times
Dude, screw that Fin guy! His commentary is warped
Limp Bizkit, Creed ,Slipknot, System of a down, Staind, Sevendust, Fuel, Godsmack, Incubus, Static-X, Snot, Soulfly, nu metal era- Machine Head, Adema, Drowning Pool, Saliva, and yes Kid Rock. This was an amazing era for metal and I'm glad to have experienced it!
Who can hate on kid rock?…..Violent J.
I’m surprised they didn’t misspell Finn as McCringey lol
Arent there more important things in the music world to debate?? SMH Stereotypical males.
Dave Mustaine replied to me just once about a comment I made here on Rock Feed about system of a down just compromising about song writing, I was kinda shocked but I told him he was right and would probably know better but to get a reply from MEGADETH'S Dave Mustaine was super cool, so thank you to Rock Feed for that
Another great video from two amazing channels!
Add McGrath's and Ritchie's totals together, square it, and you'll get Prince's total for just the 1999 tour alone.
