this seems like a cut-and-dry non issue. If he performed on the tracks, he'll get his money. I don't think Shinoda or anyone else in the band has an opposition to that stance, and i wouldnt be surprised if they expected it when they made the decision to release the 20th edition. The suit is just a formality

Ex-band members demanding money for music they supposedly took part on, sounds like he's either poor or wants to easily make a quick buck for nefarious reasons.
Linkin Park are such humble guys! Best band ever, Mike will sort it out if it needs to be done hands down!!! But why do only hear from this dude now??? Never even knew he was part of the band briefly…
This sounds to me like someone in the label didn`t do the job Linkin Park is paying them for. This will be settled outside of court for sure, but maybe the service of a court was needed to get every party on the table.
