2. I love the Kings Of Thrash stuff. They play the old Megadeth songs spot on. Alot fo those songs Dave refuses to even play anymore, and the ones he does he doesn't play with any of the ferocity that KOT does.

   David, love you, wish you thought a bit about what you're saying and how you're behaving.

5. Ive hung out with David Ellefson a handful of times. Way cooler dude than Dave Mustaine. Fred and Willie their techs are the best amongst my favs Ive ever met

9. I'm an old Megadeth fan and I would say The System Has Failed is the last release they did, with a whole lot of stretch, that was any good what so ever. I mean, I'm a huge fan of Cannibal Corpse and Chris Barnes work with Six Feet Under as an example, but the dudes voice was over around 2005. I'm still a huge fan of his, but the truth is the truth. The dudes voice is just not good anymore from a quality standpoint, even though I can turn on some tune from time to time just for the nostalgia. Any young dude listening to SFU these days would say it sucks, just like I would if it was the first thing I heard from them. It's the same with Megadeth. I can't name one song after The System Has Failed. I remember Kick The Chair from that album and that's it.

   Just aknowledge that you listen to Megadeth for the nostalgia and not for the quality. Just like I do. It's the same with Metallica or any other band of that era. It's the nostalgia and that's all fine and dandy. But don't pretend these bands new material is any good. It's just not. It's complete garbage from a musical point of view. Generic riffing some solos, some barks. Lets just be honest with ourselves and say: Hey man, I used to listen to this band when I was young and it gets me all nostalgic. That just fine. It's ok. We don't need to pretend. It is what it is.

10. I agree. And the band is worse without Junior. His basslines are iconic. All of Megadeth's best material feature Ellefson on bass.

12. Ellefson should just stay where he's at with his new project. Yes he had a great run in the Megadeth, and is still to me a very important part of that organization. But that's Mustaine's baby. Always has and always will. He does need to let the music speak for itself. Him and Young have a great thing going.

Dave Ellefson is turning into a distraught girlfriend who's been dumped but just won't go away, he first went the nice root saying me and Dave are brothers and who knows one day I might be back in the band trying to get back in Dave's good books, to I was in an abusive relationship with Dave who used to bully me to now thinks Dave's music is shite and thinks his is now better than his….the next stage will be the Glen Close stage for Ellefson, Dave will be getting in the bath one day and Jr will be standing behind the door waiting with a knife.

    I mean i hear people say he is a wizard on bass but i really dont think he's that great honestly…

    Id love dave picking up jason and flip a bigger middlefinger to metallica than ever tho, i guess.

24. The new Dieth material with Ellefson is better than recent Megadeth. Mustaine should be worried.
