Like any, you know, super musician, they’ve got their own stamp on it and there’s no way for one person to step into that other person’s shoes. It’s impossible. I love his playing. I hated trying to copy that. Just a super, super guitar player, and a great guy, too. We toured together once.”
I love Marty, i love the classic lineup, they're just so great. Marty has definitely contributed to alot to Megadeth! So unique with the scales he uses, worked on Megadeth's most successful album of course, Countdown to Extinction, so deserved! Best lineup, Dave, David, Nick and Marty. Rust In Peace rules!🤘

Of all the guys to be kicked out of Metallica Dave M is definitely the most successful… never quite making it to Metallica levels but he’s done very well for himself.

Chris Poland was and is as successful with his musical projects as you can be in the genre of music he prefers. I respect him a lot for not caring about what kind of music he can make the most money with, but making the music he likes. A true artist.

What Dave said is true. Its fact. He didn't say the others sucked, just that Marty did better. I saw Ellefson with Kings of Thrash. It felt like a cover band. Ellefson ruined his career when he decided to send stupid videos to a young girl.
My opinion Rust in Peace was their best album. Shame Nick passed way
