  1. Thanks for this episode! I love it when experienced people with knowledge are willing to share some useful insights.

  2. I need a cultivator to cross Zkittlez and nimbus snacks and call it leprechauns unicorn as well as crossing Pluto kush with golden ticket and call it planet X!!!🧐

  3. Here are some quick links to beneficial insects to fight common unwanted pests in your garden:

    To fight spider mites:
    – Phytoseiulus persimilis: https://tinyurl.com/3vzcf49x

    To fight thrips:

  4. I used insect frass and then found meal worms in my soil. I put some insect frass in a jar and sprayed water in it and worms appeared. I fed the worms and they eventually turned into beetles… the same type of beetle that the insect frass came from. I didnt notice an issue with the plants even tho there were worms in it, must have enough dead biology for the worms to eat and not touch the harder to eat living roots

  5. Make a homemade barrier on the base main stem with a wrap and place oils on the outside so the pest cannot even crawl up the plant like a ant 🐜 barrier for pet ants but for the pet plant I have done this alot like a lot and it works extremely well outdoors.

  6. As a greenhouse grower I have never heard of facilities banning vermiculite from the property. What is the reason for this rule, and is it unique to the cannabis industry?

  7. Fantantic Info. My soil always has red wrigglers, nightcrawlers, hypoaspis miles and rover bettles. Keeps my gnats population down due to am fully organic and gnats seem to come from my compost. I use products from BUILDASOIL.

  8. A clean indoor grow has no pests in the first place. Beneficial predators always need pests to be present, or they starve. Likewise, beneficial predators eat until their bellies are full, at which time they slow down. Meanwhile, pests like spider mites are out pacing the beneficials. Now you only have created a feedback loop, actually relying on the presence of pests. As soon as you think the battle has been won, you just keep applying beneficials as a preventative measure, but without the constant presence of pests, they starve.

Also, if you think the battle has been won, and you stop applying beneficials, the pests will come back. Furthermore, spraying anything on the plants will kill the beneficials. But organic sprays do not work on infestations. You will end up buying bottle after bottle, forever. Likewise, even spraying clean water on buds will cause mold and bud rot. So, yes, spraying synthetic insecticides on buds will most definitely show up in testing, if not, ruin the crop, just as the pests. There is only one solution to this vicious cycle.

  9. I've seen alot of people bring in pests with the predatory insects. Before they come to your place they have to feed on something. Theyll bring more pests to your grow and you wont even know. Grow coco and have a awesome ipm. You should be good.

  10. I try to produce as much as possible in the cold months when these bastards aren't so active in nature with the risk of finding them in your secret garden.. . Compost folks, recycle the highest quality mediums and your gangia will be amazing! Greetings from Italy

  11. We’ve failed testings with pest under foreign matter, does that count to anything? Just need more information to understand it better because Hawaii is still new in the industry so DOH regulations are kinda challenging.

  12. Most definitely will be hitting y’all up for some predatory mites if ever I get another dreaded, all destroying, “Spider Mite” invasion. I know this enemy to well, only battling it once. Losses were great on both sides and in the end all 3 of my plants in flower were ruined and I was unable to salvage anything from them. I had ordered some mites online from a different company and they were all dead by the time I got them in the mail. These spider mites are no joke and u want to use the best thing to get rid of them and I agree that the natural predator to them is perfect. ✌️

  13. Parasitic wasps are the goods for melon aphids.
Saved my 60 chilli plants, 1L pots, racked in a 4 foot tent 👍
Didnt have a good hatch rate of ladybugs I tried earlier, neem oil may have nuked them
