I've heard about electro culture and seems like it's 50% bull 50% proven. Thoughts?
Some of the best smoke ive tried was black ash.
The Mr. Grow it plug @17:50 made me laugh out loud
My plants I donβt touch have stinkier Trichome production
90 degree clips are a must here with a net also …………….but I still top at least once early usually when the plant has like 4 noads
about to start my very first grow with a bunch of AC infinity gear and their 5×5. Hope i don't f it up
I thought it was the chemicals in the plant burning.
I think we also need to look at how more stress could have a positive effect on terps/thc
Wxactly eight about peohibition being the reaon we still have these debates. Slowly but surely the walls of cannabis mythology are tumbling down
If we look at how tobacco is cured and dried we actually do the opposite. Tobacco is cured then dried.
Rather than indica or sativa there are broad leaf and narrow leaf varieties. Broad leaf generally originate further from the equator.
Its simple to differentiate hst and lst. Hst harms the plant physically, lst does not. Yw
I tried 3 runs starting 2 yrs ago and used humboldt secret nutrients based on your guys recommendation at the time. I got decent looking flowers but always had black ash and similar unsavory flavored smoke each time. I lost interest after that. Iβve seen similar posts by people saying they had same results with that nute line. Thinking about trying again but itβs cheaper to just buy decent flower in my area
11:40 I grow living soil in the same room with salt base soil @ the soil bugs like rove beetle @ worms both have been found in my salt soil. I didnβt move them there but they are in there
Its about the cure and dry on the ash deal
Living organic soil pulling a pound-and-a-half and a three-by-three with a 9.0 pH well water straight killing it. Ran red-hot cookies synthetic 6.5PH was not near as loud or terpey as my OMRI organic living. I'm not saying it kills off all of your beneficial bacteria. Why use both though. Don't need the pH with living organic likeβ€
I like a little higher canopy. For watering purposes. Don't like to fight my plant watering it. I like a good Gap to be able to top water when I need to. About 14 to 18 in I like for a scrog from the soil.
I like the top twice get for great man shoots. Then I strictly LST with binder clamps and soft ties. Some get scrooged. I only utilize HST topping the first month of veg.
I think with the ice is to mimic the first frost some people harvest it after first frost or right before when outdoors π€·ββοΈ
Yea ok I thought the same thing but …if you cut the top off of the not only do you get a prime clone but you get way better yield ..the first time I saw it I was like oh no what the ….but then I did it and wow it is right snip it one cut three sets of leaves down …it is tht best way and of youndont think so you just doing it wrong it's one snip with scissors as soon as they peep up over the net ..trellis …
Cannabisbusinesstimes did a report on white ash, itβs mineral content x combustion – The Tobacco industry has already done all the leg work on this one.
If you rub snake oil on your stem, it gets big and fat pretty quickly.
There, their, and they're. It's not " bro' English".
I wonder if farmers flush their tomatoes and strawberries before picking them…smh. By the way, great work with the audio on this podcast.
there is so much broscience in this field. the bacteria in the soil are borderline extremophiles. Theyre in the soil… its a pretty inhospitable environment to thrive because of all the other organisms and the elements, unless you build up a resistance to the environment, or figure out another way to get into equilibrium with the organisms and the environments. If you start burning your plants, some bacteria die off, but a lot of them have defense mechanisms and countermeasures. They've been evolving longer and WAY faster than we have.
I feel that as soon as you mess with the meristem, thats where the shock occurs. I bend and shape the plant, usually cutting off the lower branches. I just put plants too close to the light and their internodes were jammed up on one another, so i cut off all the nodes. The plant bounced back after a few hours and almost praying again. The only problem i had was placing the light too close, and they recovered way faster than they ever did after i topped them. I learned the hard way that you dont top autos. You'll never get as much of a yield because you're on two timers with auto – for veg and one for flower. If you screw up your veg, you wont get nearly as much yield. If you're growing autos, grow in supersoil with seed sprouted tea. It's saved my plants on numerous occassions and the bacteria/fungi will support the plant and act as an inoculant. Rove beetles too. I completely got rid of my fungus gnat issue by using rove beetles, triple blend nematodes, and a single solitary dusting of diatomaceous earth to kill off the last remaining adults (only use the DE after all colonies are thorougly established beyond the first few inches of soil). The rove beetles can stand it because theyre built like tanks and they know how to burrow, and only the surface nematodes would expire from this.
There needs to be a reddit thread just for people who keep asking how long until harvest when the plant just sprouted 3 mins ago π.
They abbreviate everything. Choc Epi dees

Ive had 3 good dry and cures and 3 bad and in all 3 bad it was black ash, all 3 good dry and cure was white so i feel its moisture content and water activity within the buds
