3. I swear by harbor freight. Sure there are some things that they just cant compete with when it comes to power on drills and what not but for avgt users harbor freight is all you need especially with their amazing warranties.

8. I would've liked to see a teardown of the vacuum motors on each shop vac. I wonder if the Bayer uses a little more plastic or if there's anything shady going on with the electronics. Sometimes you pay more money because you're going to use that tool a lot and don't want it breaking mid job.

12. Yeah but i bet if you used that bauer to detail cars or clean a wood shop 5 days a week it probably will only last a couple of months the shop vac probably years

16. with the heatgun test i would use 2 of the same heatguns as they take some time when started from cold to get to temperature if you are starting the black zipties with the same gun it could change the outcome by some time

19. Regarding HF zip ties- generally good, but I've been burned by crappy bags where I can open them by hand. When they work, they work but for anything critical, I'd check to make sure they can't be open by hand

23. the carabiner you guys are using is really great for climbing! that little red ring is an indicator to tell you its not closed/locked so you know to close it before trusting your life on it!

25. Just started at my new job and I learned another reason that the blue zip ties are special. Apparently the material that they are made of is also vacuum compatible which is important for use in things like space craft

27. Should have tested with brake cleaner or acetone to see if the special ties had a difference considering they are rated for the same tensile strength. I get testing that part, and I'm no engineering master but the ties and how they are stacked and which ones you cut might make a difference.
