2. We all know that the level-headed members of the band decided it was more important for the world to hear the last tracks with Cornell than to continue to fight Vicky over her last little bit of monetary gain to be made off her deceased legend of a husband.

   I'd like to thank Matt, Kim and Ben for having the integrity to let this happen as they knew that the fans were the only ones being penalized here.

3. So, a question here..Is it just the 7 songs cowritten by Chris that we can look forward to or were there others with finished vocals?

7. I’m sorry but it kinda bugs me when people say Chris passed away. Though that’s true he did die he didn’t just pass away as if it was natural causes. He was an apparent victim of suicide. I know it’s an ugly touchy subject yet somehow saying he passed away makes it sound so normal and it was far from normal. I guess it’s just me? It will be great to hear any new Soundgarden material. Just my 2 cents peeps!

12. So apparently they were able to settle because she did have a legal stake in Cornell's parts. Good or bad bias aside she owned a stake in 25% of the band, and the recordings went to his estate since they had not been officially put onto a Soundgarden album yet. She claimed that they withheld royalties and gave her a lowball amount for CC's share in the band. She also took over their social media accounts when she shouldn't have and basically said they'd have to use a certain producer (ridiculous). Glad to hear that they worked it out.

16. Shouldn't have been a dispute in the first place. She had absolutely NOTHING to do with soundgarden. She reminds me of courtney love. Just cuz you're married to one of the band, doesn't mean you're in the band.

26. Maybe we'll get some lyrics that will help us understand what really happened to him when he died. Like the song 'scream' – which is about him and Vicky arguing. Yea, that song is about him and Vicky. I heard they argued a lot. Because she was a golddigger and probably just married for the money.

32. Chris would be turning in his grave over that. I'd hope she knew that. He was a musician who loved making music. To gatekeep and weild it as some sort of battle instrument is ridiculous, did she think he was gonna do the same? No. He made the music to be released. Glad she came to her senses

33. Chester and Chris have very unique voices that are impossible to replace let alone the merits of them both as people. I'm glad that everyone will get to hear the last new material from the band with Chris fronting at the very least.

34. Chris's loss is one that never stops hurting for me, after they broke up I was hopeful in time they'd reunite again, they did and released a new album and we ended up loosing Chris, a wound that will never heal, new material would be amazing!!

39. I can’t not believe it was foul play, and just the fact it’s not more clear affects my world view; I almost can’t listen anymore because it’s collectively so upsetting.
