The last car from Randy’s collection is listed on @bringatrailer today. Audi Quattro S1 E2 Rally Car Tribute. My favorite SG car beside the SVJ.

Randy told me that he always loved the 1985 Sanremo rally-winning S1 Quattro so he had an identical one built…but, with a couple of changes. Randy went with a six-speed sequential trans instead of a manual. The Audi Sport-style livery was done in Savage Garage colors instead of yellow and white, and he had AC put in.
The car was built on a 1984 Audi 80 chassis in Poland by Group B Garage. Power comes from a turbocharged 2.2L inline-five and of course, it’s AWD. The car has less than 400 miles. I’ll post up photos and videos of the Audi throughout the week.
