1. For me the credit in Swiss banks has been eroding since they comply to US money laundering pressure. We know they call it money laundering but that's actually US sanction. They comply for what? Moral high ground that they help fight crime? Since when does banker ever have or have to care about moral high ground. I also know that once you comply to bully, they never stop. It starts with the claim of money laundering, then all every other crime, then arbitrary sanction, then political affiliation. Swiss banks were great when they were independent and strictly business minded. Once they try to play a good guy, they're trading their customer's value for banker reputation – a game they will never win.

   I still have one account with them. I think the merge went on smoothly as nothing have changed with my number.

It's an open secret that the swiss banks and nation got filthy rich during WW2 when millions of jews and millions of nazis deposited all their funds and case of nazis stolen funds to anonymous swiss bank deposits and were never able to regain the money, since they and their relatives all died. Swiss banks have been living of that money ever since and that's why the Swiss financial sector is so strong and how the swiss nation thrives. Any criminal, dictator, drug cartel, mafia boss, oligarch and corrupt politician has a bank account in Switzerland.
