6. It’s proofed each morning and baked everyday. Hot subs are the day old bread unless they run out then it’s fresh bread. Use to work there 10+ years ago. Everything else was sliced same day as well. Vegetables and all.

13. Subway was ok in the 90s since it was affordable, and acted like a placebo for good sandwiches. Same way a fast food burger holds you over till you can make or buy a legit one.

    I worked at a Subway is a Texas suburb as a teen. Quit after 6 months and got to keep the uniform, it became my stuff to wear for paintball. Didn’t care about ruining the shirt and hat.

15. Word around town is subway meats are all the same and just repurposed with food coloring etc.

16. I live in the Midwest and I think WhichWich is super bangin. Their sandwiches are more big hoagie style and they have incredible milkshakes. Best flavor is banana. You grab a little bag in the front and check off on the bag what you want on your sandwich and they hang it up on a wire line and swipe it down to get the next person to assemble it. It’s pretty slick. No talking to order? My favorite.
    Also I lost my SHIT at “puffy meat” Jesus christ

18. Subway's meats are made out of processed turkey. Their pepperoni is turkey with food coloring. If you look on the inside of your bread after the pepperoni's been in it for a while. It stains the bread red.

    Disgusting, tasteless, and sloppy. The owner is equally as appalling. I would skip this artery clogging, hypertension inducing food for a better option in the area.
