  1. there isn't 1 other band who deserves to be in the hall of fame more then Maiden I until you just said it had no idea they wern't thats stupid and sad there legends and so are there stage set ups and most of all EDDY.

  2. I grew up during the heyday of 80s Metal, in many ways fans like myself have been very lucky. We still get to see most of the bands we saw back then, my wife and I take full advantage of that because I never thought this would happen. Its gonna be hard to take when bands like Priest, Maiden, the Crue and the rest of the genre hang it up for good, I'll probably just say "we went to a shitload of concerts, it was a great run". 🤘😁🤘

  3. I love Iron Maiden. I love Eddie in his Trooper form. Eddie and Vic Rattlehead are my two favorite mascots in music. Rock and roll hall of fame is a joke, even Bruce himself has something against it. Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden both deserve much better than rock and roll hall of fame. I seen them for the first time 2017 when Ghost opened for them. Bruce puts me in shame because he runs across the stage and if that were me. I'd be out of breath.

  4. 1988 at JCPennys with my mum. I was 13. They didn't have the transformers I wanted so I was walking around and saw this white tshirt with this grotesque looking creature holding a baby ripped from his stomach. Cool icebergs and instead told my mom I wanted the shirt. She didn't care just didn't want me to bother her. I found out the next day at school it was a band from England and I went out after school to the local music stores and got that casette, live after death and powerslave as that was the three cassettes they had. Needless to say say 35 years later they are still one of my favorite bands. Seen them 15 times and it's an annual event every year. They are the reason I got into metal. Up the Irons

  5. In all honesty, I hope all other older bands call it quits too.
Maybe that will force the Metal scene to adapt, and pay attention to younger, newer, more innovative bands. If not, kiss this genre of music goodbye.

  6. Very sad but the music will live on, last saw them on the Legacy Tour at the O2 but they were originally my local pub band at the Ruskin Arms, Manor Park pre Dickinson days, from which their first two albums were produced, seems many years ago now.

  7. More than raise expectations for new albuns ahead, I would love to see them playing live a bunch of forgotten songs like Flash of the Blade, Sea of Madness, Invaders, Prowler, Where Eagles Dare, Back in the Village, The Evil That Men Do, Holy Smoke, Be Quick or Be Dead, and many others. For me a tour like this could be the greatest career ending for the greatest metal band of all time.

  8. They won’t retire for at least 3-4 years, because they see other acts going until 75-80, and there’s just too much $ in touring. God bless these guys tho! I saw them first on Somewhere in time tour in east Ruth, NJ and it was INCREDIBLE. I was 16 and changed me forever.

  9. First time I saw them was on Powerslave tour. Saw them several times over the years, last time was about 3 or 4 years ago in Detroit. Would love to see them at least once more. We went down to the Priest show in Detroit in October, another band I would like to see at least once more. It's crazy how time passes.

  10. They are a huge part of the soundtrack of my life. And were with me when times got tough. My first show was 1986 and I've been going ever since (aside from the no Bruce era). Now my kids go with me. Truly I could not be more grateful and my heart be more full when it comes to these guys.
