0:00 Intro
0:05 The customer drove the vehicle away. No extra info.
0:23 The customer paid to get a new fuel tank installed and have the exhaust properly re-routed and installed by the shop.
0:36 2WD Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Not the best option to lift the front end of a truck. A leveling puck/spacer on top of the strut would have been a better fit.
0:44 The fuel line you see disconnected was disconnected by the tech, as he was about to take it apart. The customer never installed the o-ring for the fuel pump, even though he had one. The technician cleaned up the mess of silicone, replaced the fuel line, and installed the o-ring for the fuel pump as per the customer’s request.
1:00 The technician said it was a VW (does not remember the model).
The customer’s insurance company paid to get new fuel lines and a fuel filter installed.
1:12 What you see are rubber hoses used for brake lines, not fuel lines (the technician verified they weren’t fuel lines).
The technician said he thinks it was a fish tank hose that was used as brake lines. Since rubber hoses were used as brake lines, it caused air to enter the brake system causing the no brake concern that the customer had. This can be very dangerous and should never be done.
1:27 The customer had booster cables going to the battery, and to the power inverter that went to the microwave in the back. The technician said he’s never seen anything like this before.
1:40 Blower motor and wiring were fixed. This could have ended badly!
1:54 The technician said he’s not sure how nobody realized this, as the passenger tire is almost 2 inches taller. Something he has never seen before. Good thing they realized quickly as this could have caused damage to the front differential.
2:09 Hole in manual transmission. Had to get replaced.
2:17 Transmission had to get replaced.
2:28 The customer had duct taped a “shield” underneath their vehicle all around to try and stop it from rattling. It still rattled but the technician resecured it for the customer.
2:38 2013 Volvo (did not mention the model). The customer approved the repairs.
2:51 A great tip that shared with us. Thought it was helpful so I wanted to share.
3:13 Outro. Thanks for watching!

MICROWAVE IN A CAR
HOLY SHIT THIS GUY IS A FUCKING GENIUS.
All of these videos explain the current state of America.
Preheated gasoline pouring on a hot exhaust as the vehicle goes up and down hills so the fuel is vaporizing as it gets closer to the exhaust manifold. That's about as dangerous of a mechanical mistake as I've ever seen.
If one doesn't know anything…at all about cars, bring someone who has the skills and check the car prior to buying.
A box of beer may be all it costs you to make a professional mechanic have a look at the vehicle.
Just by using a few minutes walking around the car and looking beneath, he would unveil a lemon.
1:40 Well, it's an additional cigarette lighter..what's not to like? 🙂
Good to see that the last person didn't decline all repairs for once.
The weatherstrip drill is the best tip, ever!
That lug nut lift was freaking great😂
Man – that drill / moulding trick is killer!!!!!!!
I'm no technician so i let qualified persons repair my car, but some of these stories of….friend/brother repaired this/that makes me wonder, does saving money really save money or cost more in the end, jeez
the drill trick can also be used to re install it…….
I should find an idiot to buy my 30 year old dodge
Not sure why that guy was surprised about the microwave, that's how we do it in our semi's. Power/Ground from the battery to the inverter, then plug the microwave in. We run mic's, power tools, blow driers, anything and everything (pending the watt of inverter). Done like this since forever.
Why would anyone tow in a Fiat 500? You should just bury them where they lay.
mechanic pro tips at the end are sweet!
where do these people come from
Had a rust problem on a 86 CVCC in Michigan. It wasn't going to stop rusting….so I spray foamed the fenders and doors, cut the excess off, spray paint. No more rust bucket tickets.
Wow, these are bad…
😂😂😂
'Fixed it themselves'!! Certain death!!
All those dangerous cars I would think you would move your business somewhere else. I would be afraid to drive around your area
I like the microwave idea. Should be a new car option package to delete the glove box and replace with a small microwave.
I can't believe this thing show up in some like this the dot inspector be happy write nice book for office right.
I been on autobody tech for 20+ years, and never seen that last one. That would have saved me so much time.
The best educational videos for aspiring car technicians and mechanics
I really appreciated that drill tip you put in at the end.
These idiots that don't know how to walk on their own vehicles makes me cringe.
I don't wanna be rude but people. I don't know how to walk on vehicles should not be walking on vehicles. You don't know how to fix it let's shop handle it Because. Record your money in the end.
Spray foam??? Everyone knows duck tape will fix anything. 😂
Just remember that Chrysler, Dodge, Ram and Jeep are now owned and manufactured by FIAT, one of the most UNRELIABLE automobile manufacturers on the planet
I once had a car that was so out of alignment that when a tire repair shop accidentally put different size tires on the car it handled much better.
Hey that last 7mm drill trick is nice!
Duct tape will fix anything.
No that's just a Fiat, working as intended, or rather not working.
Most of this is why we have VOSA (now DVSA) here in the uk.
1:43 – hey any electronic device will emit light… once.
