    I remember buying a eighth of Houseplant and was disappointed in the quality for the price I paid. I was happy buying it just because it had Seth's name behind it, but sadly I would not pay what I paid for the quality so I just kept buying other brands that were hitting harder then the premium stuff.
    When I seen the ashtrays and stuff on the website, I was like shit, I gotta get me one of these. The problem is I smoke too much where I can't spend $500 on a ashtray, especially being in the financial situations of today.

  4. Celebrities are going to do to the cannabis industry what they did to the tequila industry. Brand a sub par grow and take away from the people who deserve the clientele.

  5. Seth does make and design a lot of the houseplant home products himself. A lot of the pottery pieces are made by him and his team hence there price and limited availability. They also use very high quality materials 🙂

  6. I bought some houseplant recently and the bud had absolutely no smell whatsoever. No exaggeration it smelled like nothing. Never seen anything like that in 20+ years.

  7. I am unfortunately a Stock Holder in Canopy Growth..ive had the shares for about 3 years this shit is currently down 93.69%. I lost my entire Holding its literally worthless..i think Canopy was a Pump and Dump

  9. I very much doubt their houseware items are moving with any kind of decent volume, but I bet they are leveraging the luxury aspect as their core branding. Makes perfect sense because they are just white labeling cannabis (their largest revenue opportunity) so they can use their brand name to get a higher price just like the example you gave.

  10. I just saw an interview by The LA Times in their "Green Room" series with Seth and Evan. I think you're right, their House portion of proceeds HAS to outstrip their weed side….so far! I think it's a smart move as you say. Pretty much every brand does clothes. They are doing "Martha Stewart" stuff. Home goods. Hell right after watching that interview I went to their website to check the House goods out. I agree with you, pretty pricey, and as you say, I'm probably NOT their target client!
